It is not bad etiquette, a slow roll is bad etiquette; if its your turn to show your hand, either show your hand or throw your hand in the muck. Ivey verbalized that he had Ace high and Franken wanted to see the entire hand, completely standard.
If Ivey is soo good he can throw away information than good for him, but it is completely standard for players to open their hands in proper order and if you don't want to show your rags, then you can throw your hand away. Especially if someone is limping the button, I mean WTF hands is a player limping the button with, I would def want to know and want to see the hand.
