LOL.

Some of the best coverage ever. Deal with it.

Glad to see Lamb kicking some butt.

When you're in an NL tourney in pokerstars the min raise is always less than twice the previous bet.

Poker hard to broadcast live unless you are an expert.

An imperfect analogy would be to calling a horse race. Networks have rarely used their regular announcers to do it because it is difficult to pull off and takes a lot of experience. They generally hire people who work at racetracks and have called thousands of races to do it.

On the other hand, it probably would not be that difficult to call a race on tape when you had already seen it and know what is going to happen.

Misunderstanding min-raises? This is what happens when you don't learn limit before no-limit!

Ive ripped on stasko a lot in this thread but after thinking about it I kind of feel bad. He's a man in his thrties from a small town in czech republic who worked in the automotive industry most of his life and is kind of scary looking. He might not be a genius, but he is clearly smart enough to not be fufilled by being a low level mechanic.
He's an underachiever living the dream.

From the cutoff seat, Ben Lamb raised to 675,000. Matt Giannetti called out of the big blind and the flop came down {A-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}. Giannetti checked and Lamb fired 700,000. Giannetti called and the turn was the {7-Diamonds}.

On fourth street, both players checked to see the {2-Hearts} pair the board on the river. Giannetti checked and Lamb fired a big four million in to the pot of 3.14 million. Giannetti then tanked for several long minutes. Giannetti looked pained as he tanked and tanked. He cut out the chips from his stack to make the call and then tanked even longer. Finally, he stuck the chips in.

Lamb turned over the {3-Clubs}{2-Spades} for trip deuces and Giannetti mucked his hand.

The only hands they don't show are those that don't see a flop.

If Lamb's laughing at variance, what the heck did Darvin Moon do to it 2 years ago?

Just bustin' balls -- I'm an NVGtard if there ever were one...

They weren't showing mucked hole cards earlier in the day.
