[x] Northern Ireland and Ireland are pretty much the same thing and the only real difference is they double their chances during World Cup soccer. Also, I am ignorant to the social geographical differences and I don't care.
I'm still rooting for Devo because he seems like a funny guy from what I've heard on pokerroad and he builds impressive chip castles. Plus his redneck fan army would be great for the Nov9.
Ben Lamb is maybe my 2nd favorite, since I like his style and his table presence.
Most of the others haven't even been on the feature table more than maybe a couple of hours so I have no real reason so for to root for them.
Phil Collins made an impression, so I wouldn't mind him going to the Nov9.
Apart from that I'm supporting my fellow Europeans Pius Heinz and Eoghan O'Dea.
I don't like that Barnhard dude, I disliked him on the circuit coverage, he's so awkward at the table.
pretty much this! +1
btw: does anyone know if the stream continues until we have the November 9? Or is there a set time when the stream will end (no matter if there are 10 people left and the shortstack moved all in from UTG lol)?
The ESPN editing team could make paint drying seem interesting. All of these people saying its boring must realise that live poker is mostly dull and boring and you would have been saying exactly the same thing had this coverage been around last year.
There a talented bunch over there at ESPN. LOL I'm looking forward to it. Looking for Collins and Lamb at the FT
Don't know how ppl are saying it's going to be boring, we've seen some AWESOME play so far. Way more interesting than some 'big-name pro' like Mizrachi donking around. Rooting for USCPhildo, the two Russians, Lars Bonding, Lamb and Heinz to FT.
Ppl might not know Kenny Shih but I know him IRL and he's a really great guy, hope he FTs.
Finally, I think O'Dea is a fantastic story for ESPN - his father, Donnacha O'Dea is a really well known Irish pro who made the ME final table TWICE, back when Mcevoy and Daugherty won, so for his son to make it too would be a very cool story.
Also, does anyone know if Holden is the son of Anthony Holden, author of seminal poker book Big Deal?

I'm with you on that one.
I don't know most these players but even the players I had never seen before played some really creative and aggressive poker and really put themselves in these really difficult and marginal spots and, nevertheless, made some really great folds, too.
I would pay money to get Johnny Chan back in the booth with Phil today. At least enough to cover his wagers.
Please don't. The main WSOP broadcasts are already borderline ******ed with Norm, Lon, Jason Alexander, Brad Garrett and 10 stories about people with cancer. Can we have a few hours of WSOP coverage a year with real poker (and not 90% pf all-ins) and spot on analysis?
