That "one card flashed" episode was kinda strange. TD failed majorly. "Everyone has the same info". Umm, not true. the dude who has his card flashed has only one blind card, while all others have two. So the dude with flashed card is in major disadvantage. Also telling "Dont give him a new card if its not a red paint" is soo stupid as well. There is info as well. And when he shows the red paint, they know is other card is most likely not paint at all, and most likely a black card. or at least not red paint. Gives some info to others as well. Re-deal would be fair.. cmon dude, it's the Main Event!

I think the point is that you sniff out a bluff by coming to the conclusion that the story doesn't make sense. If the story makes sense and you fold, then obviously you don't know he bluffed (unless he shows).

Of course, differentiating between "Story doesn't make sense because he made a mistake/questionable move" and "story doesn't make sense because he's bluffing" are two entirely different concepts, and the inability to distinguish is where good players sometimes end up trying to bluff-catch/hero-call bad player's 2nd or 3rd pair-good kicker or top pair-crappy kicker hands due to the ******ed lines that the player took, but that's a side point for another day.
