Americans tend to have more personality and talk more. A lot of the foreign players i.e Eastgate, Duhamel, Demidov etc are not as comfortable speaking english and therefore remain quieter on TV tables. Eastgate showed as much excitement after winning the main event as I did last time I got a jury summons. Granted none of those guys are going to be in this November 9 and I'm not sure about the english skills of the guys that are left right now, but I'd rather watch somebody from the USA who talks a lot and is understandable than a random from the Ukraine who may know only halting english.

Also people like to watch people they can relate to. Your average viewer is going to be more inclined to tune in if the table is full of people who talk and act like him than if it's full of stone faced Czech's who aren't very easy to relate to.
