why not just make 2 threads, one live ticker and one for without spoilers?

Calling an allin with K-Q for this high stake is always awful but especially against that guy.The player from Belize played like no hands for ages and now he goes allin.What are the chances that K-Q isn`t crushed?Pretty obvious fold but i guess the guy was tired and wanted to gamble.

i think spoilers are inevitable, especially on internet forums. like someone said earlier there will always be trolls posting spoilers. it happens everywher on the internet... even offline spoilers happen like those drive-by harry potter spoilers.

i think the only way to avoid is to either have a private/paid member forum to help keep out trolls, or to avoid forums altogether.

like for example when i check out a movie on imdb, i never read the forum until after i watched the movie. or if i am playing a new video game, i never read gamefaqs until after i beat the game.

these are my thoughts.

We tried that couple of days ago, didn't work.
The "No Spoilers" thread had almost no traffic since most posters kept posting in the "Official Day X Thread" and since it wasn't really communicated well, that spoilers are not a thing to do, it resulted in total chaos.

Unless you put on top of every page that spoiler poster will be temporary banned, it will happen.

I think, yesterday most posts were pretty clean until maybe the last two hours.

I don't mind the spoilers post as much when they use proper spoiler tags AND do NOT hint what the spoiler is about, even when it's just "oh no", or "big pot".

i dont think there's a way to 100% eliminate it obviously, but i do think there's a way to make it highly unlikely to occur. like i said im working on it. if you guys have suggestions, feel free to fire them my way.

we've got a few months to figure it out :-P.
