Very interesting dynamic brewing here. Two short stacks trying to outlast each other. So each has to basically fold their way down to like 5bb or something. The $EV of 9th is so much greater than 10th. Because of this, the big stacks can just bully the **** out of anyone at the table.

Edit: Now that the old guy just won a pot this post is kindve useless now that 10th is signifigantly shorter than 9th

Don't forget the +EV of leaving yourself a chance to win the tournament.

It's always good for the largest stacks to keep a couple of shorts so the middle ones are somewhat forced to play a pretty tight range or fold.

obv you dont fold monsters....but rejamming light is pretty out of the question. where as in almost any other scenario you need to have some air in your range.

This is probably why we're seeing uscphildo limping 88 and AK, the big stacks can just raise/jam it right back in his face and he probably should fold. And who wants to fold AK? its so pretty

tourney director threatened to penalize a guy either yesterday or the day before for not showing his cards to the camera, but nothing for lamb?

The reason he threatened to penalize the pink haired guy is because he refused to show his hole cards on an outer table. Basically causing a big scene and kept tryin to get his cards into the muck. The TD of producer came over and told him he signed a contract saying he would show hole cards, and he asked to see it.

Right after that he was moved to feature table so i presume when TD was talking to him, It was probaly showing him the contract he signed. Not really the same as not showing the cards properly. But i get your point. I wanted to see lambs hand there pretty bad.

They need to use the camera below glass table (HPS, LATB, MCG etc...) instead of lipstick cams to be sure all hole cards are revealed.

this is slow and when Gianneti will double up it will go even slower. Watching this it really looks like Lamb collins and the irish dude will end up top 3 i predict that

like that collins seems to be limping his whole range, otherwise we'd see a lot less postflop. also makes sense to keep stacks deeper in his situation since he's better postflop than the majority of the table.
