The foreign players also might not be very comfortable with their English, nobody is as talkative and chatty in something that's not their native language or they feel awkward speaking.

Not that I really care about this issue, but when it comes to ESPN TV ratings, the U.S. definitely is the target audience. Largest market for them and what the advertisers want. I think that the lack of names casual U.S. fans know is more of an issue than what country they come from though.

I bet the people at PokerStars are double fistpumping right now because they want to expand even further internationally. Americans can't play online anyway, so why promote the game even further in the US?

The market in the US was also already saturated but there is a lot of groth possible in Europe, Asia, etc.

I instantly knew what that clip was going to be, yet I clicked the link anyway.
