I saw him at the Borgata in AC during the WPT. He was sweating our mixed cash game. I sat one seat to the left of V Selbst--who was clearly just trying to pick up some experience in the mixed games (I think we played 40/80 that night, which I can't imagine is a limit she finds at all exciting!)--and S.S. pulled up a chair between us to discuss optimal strategy for the draw games (especially Badacey). His knowledge of that game was quite good, IMO. He has clearly thought about it and Badeucey a whole lot. He looked healthier than before, and he was in good spirits.
(Unrelated: V Selbst was a good Omaha 8 player. I was surprised by her mastery of that game relative to her admittedly limited experience with the stud and draw games. In Omaha 8, she SCHOOLED me a couple of times. And my Omaha 8 game is pretty solid...)
Anyway, Scott Siever = a really nice guy.
