fwiw the guy who was owed the debt is still active on 2p2 and has stated that things were settled to his satisfaction

you can quibble about the events prior to the debt being settled, but there's a massive chasm between an unsettled debt and a settled one and it's an extremely dangerous and downright irresponsible to treat them the same because then there's no reason in the future for anyone in a debt dispute to ever settle if they think they'll be treated this way regardless

news flash, I am owed 7 figures from this "community". I outed guys who stole from me, and trolled the guys who stole from me. none of those debts were paid. if they were paid, I was sure to go back in the thread and say as such.

The basis of it appears to be that you and others ran an illegal game of blackjack, and that this plus some side bets resulted in you and your "business partners" owing Marc Klang $500K.

First you ghosted him for a couple of days, then when you agreed to meet him and he came to collect you accused him of cheating and refused to pay.

From what I can tell, you had befriended him/welcomed him as gambler/player because you wanted to win every last penny (potentially 6 figure sums) from a person who had substance abuse issues and was known to be a crazy (-EV) gambler.

And you only paid him after he outed you and the others here on two plus two and/or on Twitter.

So if the above summary is true, not only were you an active participant in a world where someone's financial life could be destroyed and if that happened you would be one of the beneficiaries of it, but you also tried to do it as a freeroll by refusing to pay out when he won.

Who are "the community (that matters) and trusts me", are they a group of people without a moral compass?

And yes you outed people who owed you, but then you did the same yourself, only in a much more predatory way.

Have you not noticed that everyday there’s new stories of people running off with investors money, scamming people via xfers, multiaccounting tournaments with dozens of entries, high stakes players using sophisticated RTA etc. A quarrel over a gambling debt that got resolved is about as low tier as it gets.

A heated argument or disagreement, typically about a trivial issue and between people who are usually on good terms.

$500K is hardly trivial. And it only got resolved because the people at fault were outed, to a community in which some people do still have morals.

have said over and over I didnt handle that situation right. made some dumb decisions in the fallout, but in the end I made klang whole with what I owed. klang is quite the writer when it came to the original thread. klang exaggerated a ton of things and everyone ate it up (obviously). me and him went to a coffee shop and we edited the thread together and agreed on everything that was written.

mistakes were made, but I corrected them and paid.
