Well from the looks of his Hendon Mob he's been busto for a decade. Considering his play on HSP I'm not surprised.

Shortly after his success at the beginning of the poker boom he developed MS. He stopped playing while dealing with his illness, before making a comeback playing in mostly smaller events. His last tourney cash was in 2017.

Pre-pandemic, when the Mirage poker room was still open, he was in Neeme's meet up game playing 2-5.

i remember when wsop was giving him all this coverage and talking him up as this great poker player, the first guy to cash in a lambo through pokerstars rewards programs

so there was obviously a bit of chatter about him here at 2p2 and a handful of sne elite regs said dario was the mark those games ran around and it was hilarious wsop was promoting him as a winning player - i recall some people asked for evidence of that and it stopped being mentioned - which could have been someone realizing they overspoke but also could have been a "don't tap the glass he pays your rent" moment much like how discussion of who the games run around in the high stakes poker threads here is not allowed and you're only supposed to look at hand histories with no general talk about who the losers are

remember this pretty well since it was such a shocker because espn promoted him like the next biggest thing, he's this internet savant who's now making a deep run at the wsop everyone better watch out
