Kenny Tran was super nitty, prob never adjusted to 'new' poker. Should be free and clear of his kids by now, perhaps businesses not doing as well. I liken him to Barry Greenstein a bit, never really adjusting style played 'back then' to now. Barry is grinding some tournaments at WSOP still .. not sure otherwise.

You also have Sammy Farha that is now just sitting quietly in PLO games in TX. Most Players don't even know his history or recognize him from what I'm told.

Krish and many others (the ex-jockey, Ronnie?) left the shows partly because of the public interaction with their play .. and probably losing too much too!

Played with Vanessa R. in a HPT event in Michigan. Would've felted her if I'd made a 'two overs' call of her c-bet. She left poker, found a wife (after having a husband, Chad) and I think the partner birthed child somewhere in there. Not sure what she's been up to .. became a lawyer?

Don't hear much from Brandon Cantu during the year, but he does pop up during WSOP. GL

Cantu just made a deep run at a wsop event a couple days ago.

I would actually tend to guess he is not busto and stopped playing for another reason. Because he seemed to be a whale that had money from outside if poker.

There are a lot of guys like that from HCL that just stopped playing though. Krish, Blank Check Ben, Double M.

Tran always struck me as a dude who's went broke multiple times due to his style and preference of game. Obviously I don't know him one bit and it's pure speculation. Playing 5-10nl doesn't mean he's struggling necessarily, but I know he played much bigger regularly in the past.

Games are tough yall, and variance Is a bitch.

Edit: and him stroking his ego all during the 07 main only to get stuck on putting people on an exact hand and then calling it off with less than 20 left is one of my favorite moments. "I CALL!" and he was shown the nuts while having 1 pair.

Sammy Farha 10 of 20 headed into Day 3 of $1500 Big O .. will be interesting to see how he 'talks' should he make FT or higher. GL

Would be even more interesting to see his face when they ask him at the cage if he would like to tip the dealers.

He will talk, trust me. Still engaging as ever with players. Now if he gets bad beat the dealer may have to watch out though!
