FTP was the first online poker room i ever downloaded, grimstarr was somehow the guy i first railed playing hsnl, i thought he was hilarious. Heard there was some story how he went from 0-1million back to almost nothing again. I remember he was grinding some .50/1 on stars shortly before black friday hit. Did anyone know him personally? have him on aim? would be interesting to find out what hes upto these days

i don't get were this guy went, he crushed the biggest plo/nl games which ran on the internet pre black friday, it hits and he just vanishes? likely he made a new screen name on stars? i don't buy the story that he decided to quit. (not many jobs out there which nets him freedom + mid-high 6 figure $ salaries which poker did)

For real? If so, it makes a ton of sense and I thank you for this clarification. I had to untag him from one of my poker-related albums (I've shot a few major tournaments in the last two or three years) and block his posts because it resulted in a bunch of spam-type activity on my wall. It was pretty annoying, really.
