Some of them are very good at borrowing money or getting staked. JRB being the ultimate example of a busto degenerate who stays in the game because of his people skills.

Probably my first post in five years, but this raised an eyebrow:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FBI_Ten...nted_Fugitives

Look at the image all the way at the bottom of the page. Click on it and look at the filename. Notice anything? I guess it could be a naming coincidence but I'm a little skeptical.

so uh, is this real? well known troll? newly discovered troll?

Maybe Todd (DanDruff) contributed the image? I mean, it is a wiki....

yes, if I see someone's face next to the caption "Crimes Against Children" on a doctored photo, I assume it was that person who contributed it?

Why not just include a screenshot or at least an explanation of what it's about instead of making people check some web-page for filenames of badly specified pictures?

Btw, there are two pictures "all the way at the bottom of the page" - one is a "a wikimedia project" and the other "powered by mediawiki" so I'm guessing this isn't really about the picture all the way at the bottom of the page...

Which one poker book did Greg Merson claim to have read before playing tournament poker and winning the 2012 WSOP Main Event. They said on the broadcast that it was a Phil Helmuth book, but they didn't say which book it was.

Can somebody tell me where states are getting these ridiculous high numbers that they say is the potential for online gaming. Like hundreds of millions of dollars is what they are talking about. Unless they are legalizing sports betting i don't see it happening.

Now that they have settled with the DoJ, I think they will be there, but only in disguise, and maybe assumed names.

You're a $1-2 NLH player with a bankroll of $20k you take a shot at the $5-10 NLH with a short stack of $1k you build it up to $20k in 12 hours by getting extremely lucky, then you get the following scenario

You're in the BB
UTG ($22k stack) - Raises to $70
MP Goes all in for $8k
CO Shoves for $13k
BTN Shoves for $11k
SB Folds
Hero What would you do...?

Info: All players have been have been playing for 12 hours and UTG is a Whale

Not exactly the correct forum for this, but you are flipping for 1/2 your recently doubled roll - muck.
Maybe leave the table for a couple hours so you can go south with 15K, or tighten up for the rest of the session.

Hello Players,

I'm writing a Business Case for my Marketing and Economics study at the moment with the most important goals:
- Gain back Players Trust. My opinion is that FTP had a very big downswing after Black Friday and the Financial Disasters which followed. They need to become very reliable again.

This will help to:
- Increase/Double Market Share (Traffic/income at Full Tilt Poker". The goal is to become the Full Tilt we know from two years ago.
- More Players, more online Fun!

I'm looking for financial and updated information to base research/choices on. I used websites such as Pokerscout for market share and daily numbers of players online, but i need more information about the online poker economy/business to succeed.

Examples of Subjects:
- Average yearly Rake income for online Amateurs and Pro's.
- Earnings/Market Worth (Poker Rooms).
- How can we increase this?
- Global Market Numbers/Information.

My main Question:
Do you know websites/portals/sources of information that provides reliable (Updated) information about this subjects (The Online Poker Economy)? Because most information is based on 2007 - 2009. Another fact is that most information is based on live poker.

Thx for help; sorry for POOR English!

Respectfully,

ROW got their money - so they don't care.

Americans didn't get their money - so they don't care either.

Good luck with your homework!

Don't think players' trust is the issue but rather just simply the fact that they haven't been able to replace the customer base they lost with US players.

How many cash game players exist today that grind 25-50 $ NL / PL and higher every day these days ?
I ask cause I got no idea.
People who just bumhunt don't count, subtract multi-accounting and people that used to play and don't anymore etc.
