This guy was a staple in the poker tournament game for years and then just disappeared.

I think he was posting not too long ago in Las Vegas Lifestyle forum. There's a thread called "
Warning - Degen trip report" or something and iirc he popped in that thread a few times and had met up with the OP at the tables.

I have met him in person a few times.

1) Binions Classic 2011 HORSE. He talked about how he wanted to go to Deadwood, SD to spend some time. I had lived up there for close to five years so we talked cordially about that. Then in Stud8 he came in with hidden aces and failed to improve and I beat him with 2 little pair and a low. He had a complete meltdown and ended up tilting out of the event.

2) Cannon mixed game at Trop. He was nice to all, but rambled like his blog if you can picture that in person.

3) 2+2 party at Wynn. I just said hi and moved on.

I have no idea why he closed his blog. He took a lot of crap on it. I have not read it lately, did he go busto?

He isn't busto. He just made his blog private, or at least to the extent that you must be invited before you can read it. Don't ask me why i follow him on twitter.

As soon as he gets his laptop out of pawn, it will be back up.

I met TBC in Vegas back in 2010 at Planet Hollywood. He was playing 1/2 NL and I sat down to play for an hour or so while my wife played in the Wed ladies tournament. Once the tournament was over he showed me some of his video poker skills and then headed over to Bill's for some .50/1 NL. All and all for the 2 hours or so I played cards with him, he is a nice guy who like to grind low stakes and speak his mind.

Does this guy actually move from hotel to hotel every single week? I read his blog thats what he does and to get comped rooms. I dont get it, but why doesnt he rent a room in someones home and pay like $400 only instead of hopping around. I mean, its not a big deal hopping around like once a week for a month but i read he has been hopping around for like 3 years?? Can someone explain why he does this?

Lol, I was thinking the same thing.

I didn't realize it at the time, but I met TBC in January. I hit Hash House @ IP, got drunk, and decided to play some drunken 1/2.

It was a non-serious and friendly table and we were showing our cards after almost every hand.

TBC scoops a pot and doesn't show and tells us we have to read his blog tonight to see his cards lol!

We thought it was a level and we all were breaking his balls the rest of the night. The answer to just about any question from then on was , "Sorry, you will have to read about it in my blog tonight!"

He brought up the blog again and asked if any of us were his followers. Apparently he posted about going to IP and one of his followers (that he never met) was going to join. He kept asking if any of us were that guy lol.

I didn't know he was serious about that blog. I thought he was just delusional
