I feel that 2/5 and 5/10 live games are much tougher than prior to the 4/15 incident. A lot more regs now play at 2/5 and 5/10 lives games these days. For those who play live, do you guys feel the same way? Do you guys think the win-rate for good regs for these games would decrease a decent amount?

2/5 in Vegas strip casinos has definitely gotten tougher, but is still beatable by anybody good enough to beat the high micros online (say, NL $50 [.25/.50 for you live grinders])

Winrates will definitely come down, but not to the point where you can't make a living.

I still haven't seen much of the "internet kids" or online players playing in nearby card rooms. So to me the game have been the same with the same old regulars.

This is in the bay area. Bay 101, GC...etc....

I am by no means a great player, but I have gone to Mohegan Sun a lot as of late and feel like the majority of players are still pretty bad.

You'll maybe have a few good players per table, but a lot of them are still pretty terrible casual players, who will have a big smile on their face as they are whipping out their sixth buy-in in the last two hours.

Dont really post that much but do read most of the threads. I think this is a terrible idea. How can you follow a thread when so many different questions and topics are being discussed. I mean your going to have to skip like 20 posts at a time to actually find the next post that is related to the current topic you are reading.

I already clicked on a thread to read it and found it was mixed up in this jungle of a thread. Couldnt even find the op of that thread here.

Think this is a case of a mod thinking of a good idea in theory but not realising that it will never work in practice.

not all nvg posts but all started in threads that would be lost in the super thread. Threads like this are great for video games and game like d&d which have TONS of minutia and people actually have tons of tiny questions with one word answers e.g. "what nerd item is best for nerd hero in nerd setting vs nerd boss?" Answers to poker questions are less definite.
