This thread is severely lacking a coherent / logical flow. Not sure if this is a good thing or bad thing yet.

Frying toothpaste simply won't work. Any coach telling you that is a blatant scammer.

Did not know where to post this(wish there was a general poker section?) but re-watching season 6 of High Stakes Poker and the prop bet of Ivey not eating meat for a year. I searched again to find out how long it took(3 weeks) for the bet to be settled and the same site said that Dwan won $1mill of Ivey for not winning the WSOP 2009 main event. I was wondering, I take it this was after the November 9 had been set right?, if I remember correctly I think Ivey was around 4/1-7/1. Is the story right? Because that would mean Dwan would have risked around $5m-$8m and I don't think he would have risked that much on that final table.

Most likely been discussed before but I didn't see it.

Tom McEvoy and Dennis Phillips seem not to be PS pros anymore. And Bill Chen not anymore in the list of PS friends.

Does anyone have information on the US Poker Federation and/or United States Mind Sport Association? The website is pretty bare, but wondering if they are doing anything to help lobby in congress.

theashman question:

was reading is blog and there is this post:
http://www.leggopoker.com/blogs/thea...-me-10176.html

To summarize my career into one sentence, I had phenomenal poker results(see below), but my ego prevented me from holding onto money and I extremely negative results was the price that I paid.

He posted two graphs without downswing, so i guess he lost a bunch live. Any info on this?

Watched it last night. Starring Bruce Willis as a mob boss and 50 Cent as something rarely watchable in terms of acting. Anyhow. There is a poker scene and Laak and Esfandiari are playing poker and 50 Cent robs them. IIRC around 18 minutes into the movie.

I watched her on Cupcake Wars (which will probably be the only time I watch that show)

I was expecting to see her as a great cupcake baker (as well as being greatest female poker player, and should have won celebrity apprentice, except for that Joan bitch), but she just was one of the judges

They made a display for the WSOP with 1000 cupcakes, did anyone have one?

I know there is another thread about PokerRoad but didn't want this to get lost in that...is it officially offline? There is nothing there now.

Any official word?
