fwiw I didn't mention anything in regards to lifestyle choices in that thread based on my choice... but I feel others should be allowed to should they feel like it. It's called freedom.

R+R has taken a far too leftist stance in many threads and others have reached out to me for they appreciate someone who is willing to call a spade a spade regardless of the consequences.

This forum is drying up for decent discussion and I feel it's likely that many are becoming too afraid to speak their minds.

This I can agree on... as I never commented on the Gavin Smith thread and personally I wouldn't in any controversial way as he has 2 young children.

But I didn't see this type of modding when Chad Batista died or god knows how many 2+2ers who have committed suicide over the years. The facts are that this industry leads itself to a life of excess in every variety and shouldn't be thrown under the rug to be ignored until the next one.

I think that's the point. I doubt you, or other posters in the thread, have any clue as to what caused Gavin to pass. For all you know, he could've been living a sober life for some time. Any declarations to the cause of his passing is pure speculation, and probably from posters who "saw him with a drink in his hand" one time. It's ridiculous to post such garbage in an RIP thread.

Posting to formally & vehemently object to Mason's decision to delete the Eli Elezra AMA thread. 2p2 seems to have gone from outing scammers to abetting them. While I'm here I'll quote some of what I said during the Zima controversy and some of the mod response I received here:

Yeah I agree the last few were off the rails, reminded me of Giuliani lol

But the first 20 or so was similar things he said prior(only know cause recently checked the old deeb thread) and his writing styles were similar - he went back to bashing Matt glantz, pretty sure that’s what he was doing when he got banned too

But like u said if wants to come back use other acct and tell mods who he is only seems fair
