I don't remember which specific forums the Cornell Fiji, Girah, Nick Rainey, Erick Lindgren, and many others were posted in, but I really do feel that making these cases public is some of the biggest value that 2p2 has provided to the poker community and it would be a huge shame for it to be discouraged/not allowed from now on.

If there is indeed going to be a new forum dedicated to that then I do appreciate your work in making it happen and hopefully we will see it soon.

I suspect mods will continue to allow threads about high-profile scammers to stay in NVG. It's just when people start threads about someone nobody's ever heard of who scammed them out of $500 that the threads get locked, because this is not news- or gossip-worthy

You can try to play goaltender all you want but it doesn't change the fact that this forum is overmoderated. For instance, I made a thread that got moved, title changed, various posts of mine were deleted which made me look like an absolute idiot because I was referencing posts that didn't exist anymore. The title got changed to a question, something that contradicted my OP. I got flamed for something that I didn't write. That's crazy

I used to search questions on here and thought, "oh I wonder why nobodies asked this." But now I know that it's because nearly everything controversial either gets locked or deleted. Is it that you don't have the power to make a subforum? please direct these posts to the proper forum if so like you kindly did with my original post.

Most people use forums because every once in a while they'll find that juicy thread that makes their time worth it. That thread that acts as a live action movie and you can't wait till you get home to refresh the page. But guess what, you ban anything juicy which is why this forum being frequented less and less. Show me i'm wrong with a legit views vs time graph over this year. I don't think you will

If your thread gets moved, title gets changed, etc. you're probably not very good at starting threads because there are an awful lot of bad threads here that manage to escape unscathed.

I must protest the latest indignity by the mods of this thread on the famous poker player and man-about-town MrWong. While his musings are certainly not news, they are absolutely views (unique and written with style), and frequently include gossip. So there is no basis for shutting him down. I would appreciate any supporting notes that anyone cares to add to this thread.

I would say that some mods don't have a really great sense of humor. I'm not sure this gets as far as being a criticism, but if the humor is even slightly over their heads or not exchanged among their preferred pals, out it goes. That said, 2+2 is my favorite forum by far.. they must be doing something right.

I have no complaints but I have been threatened with a banning from Rapini in BnM and now I am concerned about messing up in NVG.

After starting a thread I realized that nobody knows the answer to the initial question even though I wasn't looking for an exact answer.

However the thread has opened up a whole can of worms and I wanted to know if it would be OK from the Mods If I post a related thread with a very specific question but not a re-wording of my first thread. Lets just say another question arose from my initial thread .

Yup, I've had a couple of posts deleted that were jokes but were way over the head of the mod. I'm not saying which mod it was but it might be the mod who posted in this thread most recently. I'm not saying he doesn't have a sense of humor...just that I've never seen any evidence of it.

I checked about 6 month of your posts and didnt see any that I deleted.

why don't you ban and/or threaten to ban all the negative Nancys that just seem to be here to add insults to the discussion? i haven't been insulted but am amazed by how negative this forum is.

That is what is for. We dont read every single thread and post that goes up so we depend n the community to help out and flag posts that cross the line.

There's a similar type of thread in the TV section for poker shows uploaded to Youtube.

I think both Borovetz threads should be merged together. It's silly to have two at once, and I'm pretty sure Borovetz created the new "mea culpa" thread (without mentioning anything about his scamming) in the hopes that it would bury the scamming thread. And it seems to be working, there are posters in his mea culpa thread that don't know who he is or what he did.

He wasn't bloggin he was tall talein - to illustrate a VIEW. Had he written "Everyone should stop whining about the re-buy strategy because in this card player's opinion it's the wrong way to go..." then thread stays open?

Perhaps it should have been merged with the original Negranu buy-a-stack thread, but not closed - creativity got penalized here IMO.

Did you not read the last post of the thread? The reason was given by the mod who closed the thread. Also sounded like a blog post to me.

If that is what Limon wants to do he can certainly post it there himself.
