It’s you and people who have similar perspectives that have brought this forum down a peg of the social muck. When the new owners took over, I believe there was a push to try to eliminate personal attacks and elevate the forum to a more professional level. It seems you didn’t get the memo.

In fairness, I work at a mental hospital with criminals. The VAST majority of the patients are pedophiles and rapists who have A LOT of sexual deviancy issues. I hear and read a lot of crap you couldn’t imagine. So any jab about sexual deviancy is a bit of a touchy subject for me. So yeah, people are different.

Sorry jjjou812, but you’re wrong. I didn’t need to respond to my own post. My bringing in that photo of those casinos that were on the church wall was (in my opinion) the second most interesting post I made in the entire thread. I could have simply said:

Hey guys, regarding that church scene, here is a photo of those casinos pictured on the church wall... (Casino pictures on a church wall are extremely unusual and probably don’t occur anywhere else in the world). This I believe would make the photo very interesting to those that don’t hate religion.

Even though I didn’t need to respond to my own post because of the very interesting photo, responding to your own post has advantages. It lessens the amount of typing you have to do if you want emphasize a point that some readers might have missed because the thread was becoming large and a lot or readers (including myself) don’t always read the middle posts in a large thread. My responding to my own post in this instance is much ado about nothing, especially since it came only 2 days after the previous post by Gzesh. And I seem to remember someone else earlier in the thread responding to their own post. So freakin’ what.

Jjjou812 mentions I have hopes that an A-list celebrity who likes poker finds this thread. My God isn’t that a terrible wish. Imagine that, an A-lister getting interested in a movie script and wanting to make a poker movie. What a terrible thing to wish for.

Anyway to be honest, I was thinking about posting the 45 words of dialogue that Mike Matusow says in the script. But now with the thread closed I guess that can’t happen. But I’ve got a proposal to make. If the popular thread is reopened, I won’t post anything unless someone asks me a question or someone says something that reflects negatively on me. Additionally, if reopened, I will post Matusow’s 45 words of dialogue on September 1, 2023.

I wouldn't be interested in doing that unless the thread was in News, Views, and Gossip. There was a thread just deleted from a sick criminal offering extortion services. He's been banned multiple times over the years (that I recall, and I dont log in much). He offers services like framing people for pedophilia in order to collect gambling debts. He comes by consistently over time advertising extortion and I think he's unlikely to be trolling due to amt of effort put in. As I reported to all the mods, he went berzerk and started threating members of the forum. It's possible to find a forum member's IP if you hire a hacker, and was claiming to know personal info about Bobo Fett, etc. I think this is very very serious. He's making several deranged threats. I have documented all the evidence. I highly reccomend someone contact authorities and pass on the evidence. I assume mods can see deleted threats but if not I can provide. I recommend you log out. The guy openly admits to being an evil criminal extortionist who hires hackers. I really believe it's a credible threat.

as reported he threatened to rape my life and promised i'd be "hearing from him". he was in the midst of a manic episode so i'm sure he'll calm down. what good would logging out do?

Trust me, IP addresses of currently logged in users can be captured if you hire a sophisticated hacker. My brother is a penetration tester. If you log out, it's harder to detect whose IP belongs to who.
