Not poker news, views or gossip, and wasn't funny enough to be allowed to go despite not meeting those criteria.

It was just a stupid forced attempt to make old people/young people jokes.

This is Poker News, Views, and Gossip.

If something doesn't fit into one of those categories but is pretty damn hysterical, it'll stay. This wasn't hysterical and wasn't NVG, so it got closed.

This isn't rocket science. You want to see something funny, go find the will the cat make the jump thread. Lame old people/young people jokes, not so much.

If you want a forum on 2p2 dedicated to funny stuff, go to LOL (Laughs or Links). If you want something funny to stay in NVG, it had better clear a much higher bar then "OMG old people can't get it up".

any chance of getting the low-content thread pinned somewhere? The rudimentary low content search doesn't show it. Using a hyphen (low-content) gets 80 hits.
I know it doesn't belong on top of the NVG page, but maybe there's some way to make it easier to find..

Would any NVG mods be able to tell me anything about why iBOOBOO was recently banned? The reason that I ask is because it might be relevant to this thread that I made in internet poker: Multi Accounting Shills on Skillbet

It might be completely unrelated, but someone told me that it might have to do with some of his posts in NVG so I figured I would ask.

The problem is, just like any thread that involves something vaguely political, is that people can't confine their comments in a way that applies to the actual topic. Instead they go off-topic and start discussing things that don't belong in a particular thread.

So it's easier to just say, condolences threads are for condolences, and if you want to argue about whether black friday causes depression or whether the LOLUS government is the root cause of all evil, go elsewhere.
