As I already told you. Just create a thread explaining the problem with your locked account. If it's just going to be a post carrying on about how you think things are rigged, we have a thread for that already, as you know. But if you want to post about your own account issue, that's the forum for it.

But if you're just going to come back and start 5 threads in different forums screaming at everyone how 2+2 is corrupt again, your account will be very short-lived.

Some real talk for you: everyone isn't out to get you, including 2+2 mods. We have hundreds if not thousands of threads on our forums criticizing pretty much every online poker site you can name. There is no incentive for anyone on 2+2 to want to delete issues with poker sites, and our history shows that. I get that you're upset, but if you want your issue to get any traction on these forums, you need to take a step back, and explain your issue calmly and rationally. All your recent account with a half-dozen all-caps threads got you, was 4 or 5 posts mocking you, and understandably so.

People post about sites all the time, with links, to discuss them. If the OP the thread hadn't posted a link, it was only a matter of time until someone else did - kind of difficult to have a broad discussion without one.

That said, I did some digging, and it would seem in this case the OP is probably tied to the site in some way. I assume that's what you were getting at in a very roundabout way; we could have saved a lot of time had you simply said that, but I do appreciate you flagging it. Thanks.

The two things aren't related. As I mentioned to you in my other post, the existence of a thread doesn't mean it's in some way been "mod approved", or that it's necessarily OK. If mods aren't made aware of an issue, they aren't going to be taking action.

I have no idea why your threads were closed, but I'm pretty confident it was not "for no reason", or because a mod "want[s] to push them to play online".

Lots of people care about poker, and many think about what could be done to make it better; we've had many threads on the subject.

Both of the posters you named were recently issued temp-bans and warned that continued crappy posting would result in longer temp-bans/perma-bans. I imagine that you and many other people might think that those temp-bans were insufficient.

For a variety of reasons NVG mods have been notoriously hesitant to perma-ban posters. I think there have been only a handful of cases in the past six years. And in each case I would say that the poster essentially banned himself by flagrantly posting in direct violation of recent mod messaging warning that a perma-ban would result.

But rest assured that NVG mods are committed to trying to maintain an enjoyable, informative, entertaining, and positive forum. Mods are part of and reflective of the larger community, so an important factor in having a great forum is to communicate with mods via this thread, via PM's, and probably most importantly via post reports whenever you see a post that you think is inappropriate.

As an aside, arguing with and/or calling out a crappy post/poster, especially over an extended number of posts, in a thread is typically not an effective way of dealing with the issue. Mods should not be assumed to read every post in every thread, certainly not in real-time. Contacting mods via the avenues mentioned above is a far better alternative if that is your desire.

Hi, I had a thread entitled "Interesting poker trivia uncovered". The thread was closed. In the OP I mentioned that the two people involved were famous. Maybe trivia was a bad word to use because one of the people involved is extremely well known worldwide. When someone is extremely well known worldwide and is involved in a poker challenge, that is news whether it happened 20 days ago or 20 years, especially when probably 99 percent of your viewers do not know about this, and it will definitely be news to them because they didn't know this info.

I tell you what, if you open up the thread again I will reveal who the 2 people are on July 1 (2 days away) and you can then decide whether or not this new information (involving a very famous worldwide figure) is news.

Did you use the search function to see if there's something about the challenge already?

If there isn't, feel free to start a new thread titled along the lines of "xx challenges yy to heads-up match" or whatever you feel is appropriate and put everything of relevance in the thread. If you don't want to reveal the information before July 1, you can just wait til that day to post your thread.

I couldn't find a thread about the challenge. I do have proof the challenge involving this worldwide famous person occurred. I guess I'll put up another thread as time permits.

Why do you allow posters to lie on here? Rickroll just posted in the Poker Bunny thread that I am behind some Snowie accounts which is totally untrue. I don't even know who that is so there should be a temp ban at the very least when a poster puts something like that out there. I have 1 account which is this one. I reported that post and it should be deleted.

Yeah it’s actually a huge deterrent from participating in NVG discussions. The ignore feature kinda helps but obviously isn’t a complete solution.
