I wanted to provide some information on general Responsible Gaming circumstances that may arise in the future that could be similar to the following locked thread.

I've reached out to TSG Head of Responsible Gaming Jeanne David to request assistance on how best to handle RG issues that come to the boards -- in cases where discussion has reached an impasse and posters may no longer feel qualified to provide assistance that may be needed.

David provided testimony before Michigan lawmakers last year in the capacity of a Responsible Gaming expert -- and is a Certified Addictions Counselor (New York) as well as a poker player. She has been with the company since the mid-2000s.

In cases where a poster has an issue with a land-based casino or otherwise divulges jurisdiction, some of the posters here including myself are willing to look up the relevant info and post links/phone numbers so the individual may communicate with qualified professionals.

In cases where jurisdiction is unclear, Jeanne David referred me to the following webpage to share in cases where posters' knowledge and resources here may be exhausted.

I bring this up since the OP of that locked thread also posted in the Pennsylvania Self-Exclusion discussion thread in NVG a few days ago, and Responsible Gaming communications are being closely monitored by regulators in a number of areas around the world.

I initiated the contact without realizing that the original thread had been closed (poor follow-up research on my part), but since I've already received the relevant info I was asking for I figured I'd post it here in case it may help in the future.

Maybe it could be stickied in the Internet Poker forum?

Mods/admins will likely move it to wherever you think best.

A new MOD per section should be voted in each year and a current MOD voted out at the same time.

I'm a long time viewer of 2+2 and feel MOD favouritism has gone unchecked for some time. There are some outstanding mods like Bobo but also a lot of weak ones that look to protect certain posters citing that they're being harassed. If an OP puts himself in the spotlight you get the good and bad responses; deal with it.

I’ve always thought Bobo was a a bit of a tool on high horse and a lot of users like to have a brown nose. Each to their own I guess.

Preki and others politarding up the Micah Raskin thread needs to stop imo

I only speak for myself (other mods/admins can disagree) but I think those posts are fine. In a thread about a poker player being arrested for a large amount of marijuana, I think it perfectly reasonable that people discuss the government's current laws pertaining to marijuana (or other substances).

Of course, everybody has their own definition of "politarding". To me, politics and government are inexorably intertwined, but they are not the same thing.

Last post in the NVG posting guidelines sticky. I mean I really don't care, but I pretty much despise out of forum political details and the Raskin thread seems to be headed that way. Ymmv.

Flag specific posts the you think cross the line and we will look into it. Some Mods may not be following the thread so that is the only way to alert us.

I made a post (thought I did ) earlier today in Galfond RIO thread asking a question about where RIO is accepting bets in comparison to where Stars is not. post is gone.

I was about to repost and was pretty sure I posted it so figured it must have been deleted.

If it was deleted, it would help to understand what was wrong with post.
