no one thinks he is an overrated PLO player...he obv had to play PLO because nobody in the world will play him HU NLHE unless he's 8 tabling against 3 other people.

why do he needs to figure out his game?

top player from an online "coach" site gathered to study his play and then run VERY lucky against him to win the money. playing like 3 vs 1.

his only problem is the money managment.

Good to hear you guys agreeing. The results at PTR for the best nosebleed PLO player was awarded to Isildur1 and in my opinion he is far away from being the best. In my opinion, he got those votes from people who rooted for him and felt sorry that he was literally rob of that $4 million. I felt extreme sympathy for him too. US$4 mllion to an average person or a professional poker player is a lot of money, he could use half of it to buy properties at new york and rent them all out and live a really good life and never have to worry about money for the rest of his life.

It was clear "coach site" broke the rules of full tilt and why they were always waiting for him at the tables. They already read him like a book and therefore had a huge edge over him. Like the rest of the poker world, I really hope that FT would do some compensation to Isildur1. While one can argue its all about who wins the most money at the end of the day, sharing hand histories is something that brings no integrity to this game and its clearly an indirect collusion.

When Phil Galfond said Isildur1 is a good PLO player, I was really doubting whether he meant it or was he saying just because Isildur1 was on a hot streak. In my opinion, Phil Galfond is the best omaha cash game player in the world. So praises for Isildur1 from Galfond kind of put question marks over my head.

I read an interview with Browndog19 (sp?) in the CardPlayer. He said, without going into much detail, that Isildur brought some new stuff to the game, that there are major leaks in his game, sure, but that there are some things that even he, Browndog19, never thought about. Something like that. Does that stand for anything?
