But sharing HHs and datamining breaks FT rules and gives unfair advantage.
In Hasting's own words, Townsend made an indepth analysis of all the HHs they had from Isildur and came up with a list of Isi's PLO ranges and obv shared them with Hastings and Cole.

Its worth looking into "at the very least" considering what was said in the ESPN interview. All the action just happened a few days ago and players are starting to talk now about what happened...especially with what was said in the ESPN interview.

We're talking about a single hand that was worth "four million dollars"

Isn't it worth knowing that everything was won on the up and up? a fair fight? that no one had an unfair advantage over another?

How would you feel if you lost a few hundred or thousand dollars from your bankroll...and then found out that a team of college kids had joined forces...shared their hand history databases contrary to FTP site rules..bankrolled one of their own to be their horse...and then used all of the advantages this would give them to clobber you hard? I imagine you'd be pretty annoyed too...you might feel...whats the word???....cheated.

Re: *** The Official Isildur1 Thread ***

Then you have things like this:

Isildur1: ??????????
Dealer: Brian Hastings has 5 seconds left to act
Brian Hastings: getting very tired…
Dealer: Hand #16648979788 has been canceled
Brian Hastings: i feel bad quitting tho
Brian Hastings: would be be cool w/ playing someone else?
Isildur1: just f off
Isildur1: wåfä’qqqqqqqnhjwe4nm
Isildur1: dW
Isildur1: GFE4¨ÅN,K N,KN,KN,KN,KN,KN,KN,KN,KN,KN,KN,KN,KN,K3
Isildur1: Q
Isildur1: u know how lucky u are ?
Brian Hastings: yes i know
Isildur1: i can promise this is the worst
Brian Hastings: ill give you 30 more min if you want
Isildur1: luck anyone had
Brian Hastings: but im rly tired
Isildur1: k 30 mins more
Isildur1: take my last $$
Isildur1: i dont want it
Isildur1: ::S:S

Basically Hastings proposes to almost broke, monkey tilted and very tired Isildur to play against Cole or Townsend who is fresh and waiting in line to take advantage of Isi, I believe there was chat posted where Hastings tells him that Cole would play him if he wants.

The way Isi lost his BR to 3 of them looks and sounds very suspicious and it's borderline collusion.
FT rules were broken anyway.
Basically, Isi got hustled and that's that.

You do have a extremely valid point there tbh.. When Brian first didn't want to 6-table he asked isildur1 if he could play 4 tables and Cole could play 2..

Simply THIS!

I read the ESPN article and it was blatantly against FTP TOS.

They straight hustled him as someone mentioned above me.

Amazing.
Blom should report this to Lederer and demand some kind of setlement or just sue.
I doubt he will though.
He really should.

Re: *** The Official Isildur1 Thread ***

Blom/Isidur1/Whoever the hell he really is.....

I don't think they personally have to file a complaint about it.

Every single one of us can, because we all have a stake in this 'eventually'.

If they are allowed to get away with it...then others will do it...and it opens us all up to potentially being hustled like this. Its kinda scary that there may be "one standard" for some red pros and "another standard" that governs everyone else's play.

FTP prides itself...in words anyway...that they are tough on colluders/cheaters/etc..etc...but most anytime you complain to them about shady behavior, you get the standard...we'll look into it but can't divulge the results of our investigation email.

I encourage anyone who's concerned about this to email FTP themselves. If enough of us did...it'd be hard for them to sweep it under the rug.

thats BS...

its not whining when you've probably been cheated..and people that have been cheated usually don't know 'during the moment' that they've been cheated

just ask Tiger's wife...

Considering the new information thats come to light..he's got legit grounds to complain I think

Re: *** The Official Isildur1 Thread ***

I think that Brian T's, Hastings and Coles actions can be summed up by Newt Gingrich when he said that he "smoked pot in college, he just wasn't dumb enough to get caught." They broke the rules, however silly they are, and we dumb enough to speak to ESPN, and there should be some type of enforcement. I mean millions and millions of dollars here, on a blatant violation of a rule that was specifically intended to target this kind of behavior, ie ganging up on a player. People share hand histories all the time, if your dumb enough to get caught, especially in this type of red-handed fashion, you deserve the consequences of your actions, and I really believe at least some of the money should be forfeited or frozen until a final agreement or resolution is met. Antonius played Isildur fair and square, so did Ziggy to the best of our knowledge so did Ivey and Durrrr, so why should the Cardrunners guys be exempt?

Its not like they even just went over hands, according to that interview, there was an indepth analysis and strategy to take him out. Thats not kosher.

sorry this might be a dumb question, but is there a link to this ??? serious business if they did that, i think FT should intervein here as such behavior cant be tolerated....

Can Hastings cancellation of all other backing deals before this match and the comment he made about NOT having 100% of himself in the match perhaps indicate that Brian T, Hastings and Coles not only shared hand histories, but also shared bankrolls?

Hastings had played Isildur1 three times previously, so he, Townsend and Cole South conglomerated their hand histories, allowing them to study the mystery man's playing style

"We've done quite a bit of studying of his habits," Hastings reflected. "Honestly, I give most of the credit to Brian Townsend here. I mean, Brian is honestly the hardest worker I know in poker. He analyzed a database of heads-up hands that Isildur1 had played and constructed ranges of what Isildur1 was doing in certain spots. In a way, I feel bad that it wasn't Brian who got this win instead of me. Obviously I'm happy and I'll take it, but Brian did a ton of work. The three of us discussed a ton of hands and the reports that Brian made, so I'm very thankful to him and to Cole as well."
From ESPN Article

Sounds like a T&C violation to me

Re: *** The Official Isildur1 Thread ***

wow, that seems to have the potential to develop on a huge scandal, specially since cardrunners team are active Red Pro's so no excuse as lame as not knowing the T&C would help them

FTP should take cards on matter and seize the funds obtained by this actions that very much put a player at a huge dissadvantage....

EDIT: ty very much for the link JacknCoke56...
