It's Viktor Blom, really, it is.
Who is to say Blom is not the person behind the Grimstarr account?

Wasnt there an interview with Viktor where he denied it all ?

No, someone called another Viktor Blom from the same Swedish city, and he said it wasn't him.

if someone recorded parts of isildurs sessions on video at ft, they should make a montage of it with rhiannas song russian roulette in the background, the lyrics somehow fit

The indentity of Grimstarr is very much known to people that followed his 2+2 and poker "career".

His name isn't Vicktor or Victor. It's Viktor. He doesn't have a FB afaik.

Pretty sure they called the wrong Viktor Blom. Did they just ask if he was the pokerplayer isildur1, or did they first confirm that he was Blom90, but not isildur1? Probably the former.
12-16-2009 , 10:37 AM
Is he finally busto??
12-16-2009 , 12:53 PM
He should sit with Luvthewnba, has a 100k BI at NLHE HU 500/1000 right now but no action yet...

I just know the legend of Grimstarr -- I didn't know his RL identity was known.

Of course I never really thought Grimstarr was Isildur1, just thought connecting the train wreck legends was funny.

Is there anyone before Grimstarr in 2+2 lore who is viewed as the father of poker train wrecks?

I think he has a legitimate reason for making a complaint to FTP that Hastings&Co took money from him in a manner that violated the site's terms of service.

Hastings&Co are quoted in an ESPN article as saying they shared their hand histories in order to get a read on his Isidur1's playing style.

This is clearly against FTP's own rules regarding the sharing of hand histories...

... Take a look at any picture where Blom is at a table (he has played live tourneys), it's not him. I've met Blom in person, again, it's not him. It's the wrong Viktor Blom.

Then probably every poker player has legitimate reason for making a complaint to FTP.

ok,

also another question the viktor on Fb looks like a virgin who could not be the king (ex king) of poker.. does the real viktor look like he can be the king? (basically not a virgin, Jimmy frickle, brian hastings the list goes on... and on)

Man, don't trivialize what I said....

I'm talking about a few specific players, with quotes being made by them to a reputable news source (ESPN).

http://www.fulltiltpoker.com/prohibited_programs.php

Under:

Not Permitted Under Any Circumstances

2. Shared hand history databases and "data mining" software, including subscription services and the exchange of personal databases:

The use of shared hand histories provides detailed information on opponents a player has little or no personal experience playing against, and is deemed to be an unfair advantage. Violating this policy is subject to the maximum penalties for prohibited software use.

Players are not permitted to use the hand histories for hands that they have not personally participated in. Software designed to collect hand history information from games that the player did not participate in is prohibited. Some specific examples include:

•community shared hand histories
exchanging hand histories with a friend
--------------------------------------------
The rules would indicate what they did gave them an "unfair advantage" over Isidur1

And we're talking about a FOUR MILLION DOLLAR hand...this is NOT a small or trivial issue

There are plenty of pictures on 2p2 and the interwebz in general of Blom. Make your own assessment, lol.

Yeah U pointed this out in the "Lets get Isldur1 back on the tables" thread. I don't know if what Hastings said is just a scrambled sentence of what actually happened or not. I can't imaging Townsend and Hastings being that dumb but I heard Hastings was a multi...

Its all here:

that was great action
12-16-2009 , 09:15 PM
Isidur got a raw deal.

He was playing against 3 very good players who somehow got a db with his past hands and discussed them amongst one another in for ways they could expolit him (ahmmm cheating).

Stinger88 sbrugby and cts actions were def wrong. Not to mention stinger88 basically luckedsucked his match running 3 MILLION OVER EV
12-16-2009 , 09:24 PM
Isildur ask for the action and got it! Im a fan however he choose to sit with 3 of the worlds best and play plo hu. If he was smart he would have just stayed nl hu and after durrr try and make the rest come to him.
