because 99.99% of you clowns would email back with a stupid question and they would not be open in time due to answering these stupid questions.

the people with balances over $3.5k have been emailed; these people mostly not fish, either playing poker for living or a as a side income or would have been following the scenario regardless if they binked a lucky score as its significant money to them.

if every diot fish with a balance still on ftp knew they will have their money available by november 6th then they have time to plan to buy things with their money. if they dont have a 6 week window it will seem like a poker win and they will be more likely to gamble/play with the moeny rather than cash out immediately.

and to those that already know about the buy over but didnt have over $3.5k. they can look at the first page in this thread and see whats happening.

I don't know why Full Tilt even bothered to answer any of the questions!

They should have just had all mail redirected to this guy. He know everything!

curious as well.

If they do, I would think tons of chip dumping would occur, though.

cliffs : 99,99% of all players are clownfish who had under 3,5k $ when the AGCC pulled the plug ?

I hope you are not playing poker like you are stereotyping . I and 2 of my friends were able to withdraw huge chunks of my/their BR and just kept the absolut minimum to grind between BF and AGCC . Ive heared that most players did that .
But thats not the point , information should be avaible to all players who had a balance no matter how small their roll is or how frequently they are reading 2+2 . Especially giving the non responding / shut up mentallity wich FTP already had .

take a look through this thread and see how many useless questions are asked that are answered in the OP or just that ridiculous they don't merit an answer.

you could send out an email to every player that has a balance on there with a list of FAQ the same as the OP. how many people do you think would email back asking questions that are answered in the FAQ's and how long do you think it would take to respond to these emails?

the information is available to all players and sending out an email to everyone just encourages a response that will require time to answer and doesnt optimise staff efficiency in starting up the site as timely and in the best manner possible.

you are guilty of this idiocy yourself as well. go to fulltiltpoker website and see what is there. is that page restricted to people with over $3.5k in accounts? it has been up for weeks now and has all the information that everyone is privy to. the $3.5k people were only verifying their identity

As far as I know there was not a "playing history audit" option like there is on pokerstars. Will this be a feature on the new FTP?

You could still get a playing history audit, you just had to email them

I'm an American that moved overseas in June of last year. I sent all the paperwork for an address change to Full Tilt, but they got shut down the next day. I have no idea if they changed me to RoW status before the shutdown or not. Is there anyway for me to find out if I'm considered RoW or US for repayment purposes (~$5k)? My address was changed at Poker Stars around the same time for what it's worth.

I'm guessing if they got shut down the day after you sent the paperwork in, then changing your account location would not be top of there list of things to do.

Email FP and ask if the address was changed. Just don t ask whether your US or ROW as that may confuse them.

PokerStars Announces Plan for Relaunch of Full Tilt Poker and Payment of Non-U.S. Players:

Quote:
Full Tilt Poker customers living in France, Spain, Denmark, Estonia, and Belgium will be repaid through the locally-licensed PokerStars platform. Players will “pair” a PokerStars account with their Full Tilt account, and then can either withdraw or use their balances on the licensed PokerStars site.

In Italy, PokerStars is continuing to work with regulators, and the details will be announced as soon as possible.

In all other markets (except the United States), Full Tilt Poker customers will have full access to their accounts when FullTiltPoker.com relaunches.

as long as the US account was moved to Canada before the site was shut down in JUNE of last year. You can not reinstate a US account now that has money to Canada.

Ok you're not understanding my question, let me clarify

Friend = US player who moved before the June 29th cutoff and has confirmed himself (and more importantly his FTP balance) as a RoW player/account/balance

Me = US player who is NOT RoW and will have to provide documents to reinstate my FTP account which will have a $0 balance

Question = Will friend be able to transfer FTP $ to my FTP acct once my account is reinstated from Canada? Tnx

Both accounts would be in Canada so I don t see why they would deny a transfer

I'd assume the same but I'd appreciate if Shayam could confirm

Just took a look and didn't see any answer that addressed my specific question. Also, things have changed since OP was updated, including the announcement(s) they made today about RoW player payouts. So I'm curious if they've made a decision on this since they last officially addressed the question, if ever.

5. Will US players who have relocated be able to change the location of their accounts, or will they have to make new accounts?

- The plan is that players will be able to change the location of their accounts via the same process PokerStars currently uses

Aswell, trasfers between players are allowed, thats a given
