Was banned on FT 2 years ago for some stupid reason. Wasn`t able to play there since then, but they easily gave me back my money..

Since than played on Stars, and was willing for FT to re-open, and people get their money back, but what do i see now? I can get a second ban on Stars because of that?

It`s a bit unfair, at least, and i`d love to see an update on this matter.

I guess it all depends on for what you got banned but i if its lifetime ban i cant see how they can allow a cheater play on one of their site but perm banned on the other one.

For one of those:

We have determined you are associated with a player due to one or more of the following parameters:

*Accounts have logged in from the same computer/IP address.

*Transfer of funds between both accounts.

*Similar information on accounts.

*Shared payment processors.

2/3/4 are impossible. 1 - also, cause i played only from home, although my IP was always changing. Maybe thats the reason, but how could it harm anyway :\

I`m sure there are some people like me here, but the most part who got banned are true cheaters, i guess.

Planning to move to Toronto end of Oct to be ready for the relaunch of FTP but when I email support to confirm I will be able to do so (provided I supply them with the necessary documents obviously) they had this to say:

"Hello,

We must apologize, we quite simply do not have any more detailed information yet with which we can provide you right now.

Please note that addressing your query will take us some additional time.

In the mean time, we must thank you in advance for your patience over this three month period, where we will formulate our plan and hope to eventually provide more detailed information with regards to our re-launch.

Please rest assured that we will update all of our players in due course and via the usual means of contact.

Regards,

Fiona

Full Tilt Poker Support"

I already reactivated my PS account from Canada late last year and assumed I could do the same with my FTP account but this is worrying me now.

Can someone say 100% one way or the other if US players will be able to relocate and play right away? Tnx

Will FTP still be using the continous shuffle or will it have a fixed deck like stars?

I guess I can't say 100% that it will be right away, but I received this email:

Quote:
Anybody residing outside the United States, Italy, Estonia, Spain, Belgium, France and Denmark can play on Full Tilt Poker once it re-launches.

We are still determining the exact mechanism by which formerly American Full Tilt players (that is, Full Tilt accounts with an American address as of June 29, 2011) will restart their play on Full Tilt from outside the United States.

We realize that this has been a difficult and drawn-out process. As such, we also comprehend that you may have many questions. To that effect, please note that we are working hard to answer all of your queries. However, we will need a little more time to address all concerns.

Please feel free to refer to the following links to view our press statement and/or relevant FAQ:

http://www.pokerstars.com/press/
http://www.fulltiltpoker.com/
http://www.pokerstars.com/ftp-news/

Please rest assured that we will pro-actively grant regular updates to all of our players in terms of progress and as we get closer to launch date, 90 days from the recent closure of our agreement with the US Department of Justice, so November 6th.
I wouldn't be worried at all

I got the same email directly prior to the one I just posted and it was the exact reason I emailed them back to clarify that I would definitely be able to play on FTP from Canada.....considering their response, I'm a little worried tbh

You will be able to play in Canada on FTP if your american. You would of course have to confrim your new address in Canada. Now would not be the time to address them as I suspect they are really busy trying to get the site up and running.

Are you 110% sure? If so, how? I would think if it was a sure thing they would have said so in one of these emails, but they didn't.

I don't want to send half a months rent to hold a place in Toronto if I can't play on FTP there for sure

Well I'll tell you this much. If you're going to make life decisions based on a single forum post by a poster who isn't involved in FTP or Stars then you should get ready to accept whatever consequences those decisions bring.

Dude, if you can play on Stars in Canada if you're American, or any other country an American lives in for that matter, I'm like 99.99% sure it won't be any different for FTP.

Its the wrong time to ask. They are just trying to gear up the company for a launch. Wait untill they launch, then ask

Wait untill they open before you start securing a place

read the cliffs on the OP. The CSRs would be busy, some learning a new job, and I imagine dealing with alot of emails. Now would not be the time to deal with these type of questions.

8. So will relocated U.S players outside of the U.S be able to retrieve their account like Stars lets us? Or will we need to make a new account?

- You will not need a new account. The procedure for re-opening your account for real money play will be extremely similar (if not identical) to the procedure currently used by PokerStars.

5. Will US players who have relocated be able to change the location of their accounts, or will they have to make new accounts?

- The plan is that players will be able to change the location of their accounts via the same process PokerStars currently uses.

I understand that FTP/PS need their time to relaunch . However why dont they send out mails to their costumers saying atleast ; Hi , stuff is happening we still know about your roll etc ?
