Also wtf has millions of ftps and Iron man medals? If you do good for you but 99.9% of other players dont. Cant believe I even wasted time responding to your dumb azz.
ok man carry on. sorry if i upset you and made you cry like a little baby on a forum because you might make $10 or $20 less a month in rakeback.

i had 27% rake back on fulltilt and i loved it, i didnt even know untill this week stars had a vip program.. the reason probably is i am ´just´ a recreational player and i am not playing enough.

thats why i really enjoyed ftp, its not about the 10$ a week i was getting back but just the feeling of getting the same as everybody else

Do you have any idea how the Stars system works? You have to be somewhere near Platinum to get the equivalent of FTP's 27%. A bronze star recreational player on Stars is probably only getting half of that.

Also take into account that on top of that 27% rb that u got at ftp u also earned fpps and medals. I remember doing some calculations and getting my total rb at fulltilt to about 55% (being black card and playing about 20k hands/month at lowstakes).

55% is unlikely.

I was under the impression that if you got rake back you were not eligible for ANY other offer including points, black card etc?

This was definitely false.

There was also the Take2 and similar promotions where you could easily pick up $5 to $50.

yes i have an idea how stars VIP systemn works and just to reiterate to those that have no reading comprehension skills, i did not mention how 27% compares with bronze stars etc, i simply said i personally would like the switch as i could cash out all my ftps and iron man medals with no effect on my rakeback ffs.

moving on now.

They also reduced the cost of deposits from rakeback, effectively giving the majority of players far less than 27%. I discovered this when I calculated my rake back long ago and asked my affiliate (Pokerisivut.com) why I got so little rakeback. Full Tilt was one of the few sites that made significant reductions to rakeback.

I suppose you could have recieved over 27% rakeback if you saved up all your FPPs and spent them after you stopped playing on FTP. I'm glad I didn't save 'em tho :P

They reduced your MGR by the amount of any bonus. When you took a bonus you were always getting better than 27% effective.

Bonuses were calculated differently than FPPs spent in the shop. I'm pretty sure I got less than 27% every single month.

I hope this has not been asked but I have not seen anything on affiliates yet.

I am an affiliate of fulltiltpoker and one day or so before shut down we were suppose to get our funds put into our affiliate accounts.

do you plan on keeping everything as ir was and pay us our affiliate money that is owing for the month prior to the shut down?

thank you
shawn

Hi Shawn, just a quick question: do you want to get paid for directing players to a site that was defrauding its players out of their money?

One more question, how do you feel about it? Are you ashamed, regretful, or just happy you made a buck? Or perhaps you are angry they didn't pay you enough for the valuable service you provided? I mean wow, they were supposed to pay you 1 day before they went down! How unlucky for you!

1st off I only have one player and that player has gotten to go to the wsop 3 years in a row from a satellite so to answer your question mind your business and yes i want my money.

you think I didn't put my own money in? don't answer that I really don''t care what you think

if fulltilt was making money off the player i sent them I think its only right to give back to the people who helped build the site to what it was. also i'm canadian so is he so after nov 6th we will be playing. no offence

It would be the biggest joke ever if Pokerstars paid Full Tilt's old affiliates

This wasn't the case but I think it may be the solution going forward to make everyone happy. Please consider giving all players the option between rakeback and VIP Shyam.

it would be stupid not to. I am an affiliate and the 1st thing I can think of is how i am going to get them more players. This all depends on how they deal with us.

I think its a no-brainer to take care of us.

wrong, there are plenty of threads on this, Rb+FPP+Ironman were the best deal out there* unless you were 200k+ supernova, check the archives, there are tables....

Can you explain how reducing the bonuses available for people on rakeback will make them happy?

FTP got into problems by having some affiliates not paying rakeback. Ideally they'd be be able to rip up the affiliate deals with those not paying rakeback so everyone can get the same deal - whatever that is.

this, and the same applies for rakeback IMO. it will be a massive PR nightmare if they take away rakeback. launching on time and re-offering rakeback are surely non-negotiables for the new site to be successful in the short to medium term.
