You need to get 1250 points to clear it... that's around 5000 hands at 50NL full ring which is roughly 53 hours of play. Suppose the player's average session lasts for 1 hour. The player would need to play 53 sessions with this ticket. However, if the player drops below 50$ after any given session, he is forced to play as a shortstack or at a lower stake to be able to use his ticket. Also, it is virtually impossible that the player would be able to actually clear the ticket, since over 53 sessions, it is extremely likely that he will lose his full buy in once...
In fact, the biggest problem is that the player may be forced to play at a lower stake than he intends... I suggest that one of the following options be given to the player: A) Buy in into a cash game with a combination of his ring game ticket and money from his cashier or B) Let players somehow merge ring game tickets together... but this option is probably rather complicated
No one is forcing you to buy it.You can get 5 buyins for 10nl with a 50 dollar one. That would be about 25k hands? That can be done in a few days on zoom 4 tabling.
If you cant play a lot of tables then dont buy it.If you want to play 50nl then maybe save up for 200 dollar ticket.
