What is Pokerstars' stance regarding phantom deposits?

I was reading this: http://diamondflushpoker.com/2012/07...ete/#more-3032

It's bit confusing when it says,

"The forfeited assets include:

*Accounts receivable or monies owed on date of forfeiture or later
*All gaming data and history relating to the business, computer records, database, operating reports, and any reconciliation files
*All present and potential claims against any third party"

It seems to imply that they can possibly go after the phantom deposits if they wanted to but then it says this as well:

"Full Tilt agrees to withdraw all claims against any seized or otherwise restrained assets. PokerStars agrees to release any claims to accounts of non-PokerStars entities. "

These lines seem to me that Pokerstars has to release any claims to "accounts of non-PokerStars entities (meaning Full Tilt accounts?)"

Can Anyone who has better understanding of the law clarify this for me? You are more than welcome to answer this one too, Shyam.

It didn't "continuously shuffle the cards". There was just no preset deck order. Any time a card was needed (cards dealt to players, flop, turn, river) a random card was chosen by the RNG from the remaining cards not yet used in the hand.

With most other sites (including Poker Stars), the RNG orders the cards from 1 to 52 before the hand is dealt, and then it stays unchanged in order throughout the hand.

If you ask me, Full Tilt's way is much safer, because that info about the deck order has to be stored somewhere, and if it's stored, it can be read by someone.

That means the same thing as continuously shuffle the cards, so you don't really make any sense.

If you only copy 1 thing from Stars, make it their customer support model, FTP was absolute dog's muck at that before.

Bull****.

If you like form only responses, then ftp provided good service

If you like it when ftp gave you a standard canned response that didn't answer your question completely, then ftp provided good service

If you were always ok withbeing unsure when you'd get a reply to a question that you know wouldn't be completely answered or correctly interpreted, then ftp provided a good service

If you are ok with receiving a reply that said "hi aggo, we've forwarded your question to ftp cashiers" and you were left thinking: well at least they read ny email, then ftp provided a good service

If you ever had the unfortunate idea of buying anything from their store and email then many months asking for an update on your shipment, and was ok with receiving a canned response that said you'd get a tracking number when they ship, then ftp provided a good service

If you're okay with items mysteriously dumped on your doorstep out of the blue because ftp never required a signature, and didn't bother shipping my monitors in an actual shipping box (lol moment when I saw the shipping sticker on top of the samsung logo), then ftp provided a good service

If you are ok with receiving a tracking number AFTER your items were dumped on your doorstep then ftp provided a good service.

All of these were true stories. I purchased multiple items ftlrom the store and the same thing happened 3-4 times over.

Way to quote the jokey part of my post and not the rest of the question! Maybe 2+2 should continuously shuffle quotes so they are all taken out of context. However, I think you will find my laymans description of what goes on and your description kind of mean the same thing, but hey thanks for the scientific version I think it's awesome

I have to agree with kevmode here. Clearly some people had issues with old FTP cs, I can only say that I never had any problems and had to be in touch with them a few times. Does this make me a shill?

Hey, has this been asked before? You used to get free subscription for CardRunners if you make above a certain amount of FTPs a month. Is this going to come back with the new FTP?

Is it possible you could restore Iron Man/BC status to an earlier date than that of the closure (perhaps BF)? You can hardly blame people for not playing on the site in the last 1-2 months when it was pretty obvious that there were some big problems at hand. Same thing goes for IM bonus actually.
