It's a ****ty feeling sitting at a table knowing some people sitting next to you are are getting rakeback and you're not.

I think rakeback might be good for smaller sites because it's good for affiliates and they need the extra free promotion (still sucks for players though) FTP is a big enough brand even with everything that happened.
So everyone sat at a Pokerstars table are getting the same effective rakeback? A SNE is getting way more rakeback than a bronze star, so no different to FT. The VIP at Stars is so weighted towards SN and above that anyone below that is much better off with the flat 27% RB at FT, especially when combined with Ironman.
Also, if you played regularly at FT and hadn't signed up through a non RB affiliate, a couple (and then another couple
) of emails would have seen you getting RB through rakebackpros.
The VIP system at Stars suits some, but really only those who make SN or above, leave rakeback on FT alone as it works great for a lot of us.
