I don't recall seeing this anywhere, other than iirc DF saying she believed that happened a while back but wasn't positive.

(Not that I'm complaining -- I'm thrilled if people go PTR my SN and think I'm not a big winner. So it actually works in my favor. Just saying, it's definitely not accurate.)

If they are missing 80% or more of people's hands, how can that in any way be reliable? 20% of your hands can represent the best run-good ever, or your worst downswing you ever had.
sigh and I'm sure you doubt the political polls shown on TV because it's .00001% of the population right? Whether a statistical sample is reliable has to do with how many data points not with what % of the overall population it represents. If I have 150k hands from you when you actually played 100 million hands, and I have 49,999 hands out of their 50k hands played, I'll still have a better idea of what your true winrate is than the guy I only have 49,999 hands on.

Q: I requested a cash-out from FTP and it was debited from my account, but I never saw the money. Do I get the money back?

A: All player account balances and transactions will be reviewed, including pending cash-outs. Once account balances have been verified (including any adjustments for pending cash-outs), players will be able to cash out. At this point, we have no access to individual accounts so we’re unable to discuss your particular case. We appreciate and thank you for your understanding and patience until we can get this resolved.

I think a lot of us are worried that FTP may not have accurate records of which cash outs went through and which didn't. This is especially worrisome for the players like myself who had cash outs that never went through in America then later relocated out of the country. In my case, I had pending cash outs when I moved to Canada and another that never went through in Canada.

OK just googled it, so how were they doing this if you didn't have rakeback with FT because you have no idea where you signed up which means the affiliate was earning your rakeback so does this mean FT were paying them out your rakeback and now paying you again which means they are paying rake twice one to player and full rake to affiliate yours and theirs?

yeah would be good if they sorted this out seems wierd that players who dont have rakeback play on other sites to receive it so its a lose situation for all affiliate player and FT.

Just reading on another thread regarding the Cash back bonus

Hello XXXXX

Thanks for contacting Full Tilt Poker Support.

You've asked about the possibility of receiving rakeback but at this
time, Full Tilt Poker does not offer rakeback directly to players.

There are a number of affiliate companies which offer rakeback if
players sign up to Full Tilt Poker through their website. However, it
appears that you were referred to Full Tilt Poker from an affiliate
which does not offer rakeback. We are unable to switch your account from
this affiliate to another, as our agreement with affiliates prohibits
this.

We understand that you are interested in such promotions in the future
and if the situation changes, our players will be the first to know and
we will contact you when we have more news.

Regards,

Richard

Your the boss Shyam please sort this out, Rakeback for all players not no rakeback for players who signed up through some dodgy affiliate.

I think FTP paid affiliates based on net revenue of a player and when they offered cash back to these players who had no rakeback they just deducted this bonus from net revenue so non-rb affiliates kind of got screwed? I am not sure because I got normal 27% rakeback from my affiliate. And though I like the software a lot I definitely wouldn't play at FTP without that rakeback.

If the player linked to the non rakeback affilete would only play with rakeback then the non rakeback affilate would make more with FT giving the player direct rakeback. If the above is how things worked.

What if we requested a cashout and it was confirmed as "Sent" but I never received the check? I understand they will review the transactions, but will they be able to see "beyond" confirmed cashouts to see if the money was ever even really sent? As far as the cashier is concerned I got a check I never cashed in.

I would imagine they would check their accounts to see if payment was actually withdrawn or not. Alot of people had cashouts pending and marked sent and everyone would have to be checked.

With some accounts having been seized, we have no idea if accurate records even exist.

Plus full tilt was not a well managed company so you have to hope their record keeping was decent enough in the first place.

I think there will be hiccups for some because I am positive FTP was horribly managed and they likely had poor record keeping which makes tracking these issues down much harder. However, I am convinced stars will do all they can do to fight through the mess that is likely FTP records and their bank records to work it out.

Yea , may of been seize but they still would of gotten any transcations prior.
I think the only problem they will run into is cheques that were mailed but never cashed
