it seems so for me, dont really know for sure but both have to be cleared and if you play cash anyway, ring game should give more $ per FTP.

It seems that it is possible to convert FTPs to FPPs. I just got an email response from Full Tilt support:

Thank you for contacting us.

Account pairing is the optional process of connecting your Full Tilt Poker (FTP) account to your PokerStars account.

You do not have to pair your accounts if you do not wish to do so, however if you do, you will gain access to transfer funds back and forth between your FTP and PokerStars accounts, including FTP points to FPPs (1FTP is 0.25 FPP).

You can send them id and address verification. People have had varying degrees of success apparently.

You are right. At the moment the tickets are on sale( until the 18th) and are more valuable.
One disadvantaged is that at some point you would have to play short-stacked unless you are willing to drop a level or two.
The tickets also have some advantages.
- You will likely loose the ticket before collecting the points needed to release it. Most likely a lot sooner.
- You cannot loose money with a ticket. This is not case while clearing a cash bonus.
- You can use tickets while clearing a cash bonus.

I'm sure this has been posted before but I can't find it. Before Full Tilt closed I tried to withdraw $1200 by bank transfer. I never received the money. I have checked my FT balance and it is not in there. How do I go about getting my money?

just a question from a poker newb, is ftp a softer game for micros? in terms of skill and SnG wise? i heard FTP is such a great software compared to pokerstars but i have never played in FTP because it closed down when i started online. i am a microstakes player.

edit: i am a sng player, not a cash type of guy.

look at the cash bonus money you can buy why does it say once you buy the money you need earn it as a bonus???? why cant you just buy the 5k for 1.1 million FTP and keep it like ps do?

Its always been like that.You get your rakeback then buys you bonuses and clear the.

The bonuses here are better than the pokertars one and you get more for less but you have to clear them.same thing really in the long run considering you get rakeback while clearing them

Before FTP shutdown, i had made ~7.5k without ever depositing ( I had just won play money and sold it, freerolls etc) before using this money to win a few multis. I hadn't ever needed to deposit/cashout and i was obviously totally unaware that anything like this would ever happen. I had random account information (ie name: fgffgf sfsfsd) etc. All i remember was my username and password but unfortunately i had one of those 3-card PIN's on my account and i literally can't remember for the life of me what it actually was. I have a very rough idea but i'd pretty much just be guessing. Also, i've completely forgotten what e-mail i had been using on this account so its not like i can just get them to send me an e-mail with my PIN.

Basically, i was wondering if anybody had any possible solutions? Does anyone know how many attempts you get to guess the PIN before it gets perm blocked?

I understand that im probably screwed but this means a hell of a lot to me so if anybody can think of something please let me know!

Send in your docs id and a bank statement with the same address as your account. Then u gotta get ur account verified with those docs. Then u need to open a new account with the same address and dob and name and your new email address. Then get them to "consolidate" the accounts. I have been waiting for a while at this point with no reply from ft support

My address was just something fake though. Wouldn't it be enough to just say to them something like..."if you don't believe its me, watch me make a new account under the same IP address tomorrow"? Surely if i know the username and password and its under the same IP then it would obviously be me?

If it meant a hell of alot to you then why o why would you not fill in your correct name when signing up? would have taken all but five minutes and the 7.5 k would be yours...makes me think you have more than one account by the sounds,as your account stands now it is basically just play money as you will never be able to cash out.

Also i think it is abit scummy actually playing cash games and taken money from people on an account which has no means of withdrawing and is essentially nameless.Just building up funds which will eventually just go into the pockets of full tilt when they find out instead back to the players you have taken it from.

To your question anyway,I am almost positive that anyone who had a balance of over 3.5 k had to send id in to unlock their accounts.So on that basis you sound totally screwed,I have also read that someone tried to enter their pin fourty odd times and eventually managed to get it right so i do not think it works on a...enter it wrong so many timesand the account locks policy.

So all you can do is keep trying to guess the correct pin and hope they do not want ID and if that fails just come clean with tilt and explain the situation,if this is your only account you have nothing to hide,or lose!Worse case they take it off you,which as it stands you do not have it anyway.

To be honest if you where stupid enough to build up an account with that kind of balance and not even think about trying to verify it or at least get some funds off there somehow then you kinda deserve to lose it.

FYI, situations arose so that i couldn't enter my details. I had no intentions of cashing out anytime soon, so why would i have needed correct details at the time? I could log in perfectly fine at the time.....

LOL you made 7.5 k breaking all of the poker sites terms and conditions,it has nothing to do with the FBI!!! It literally would have taken 2 minutes to put your right details in and this problem wouldn't even be an issue.

Even if it hadn't been closed down you would have been caught out eventually unless you chip dumped your balance off to another account.Topic might even be pointless because if they manually went through accounts to convert Iron man medals and thingsto ftp's i can almost guarantee they would have noticed your account with the name hfgfhdsfnd jnfdjnsfdn and a fake address there. Would have been licking their chops at 7.5k .
