Yes, I had it running on W8. I'd forgotten to set my shortcut to always run FTP as administrator. Once you set that, or just run the .exe direct as administrator the update works.

Right click and select properties>compatibility>privelege level

Finally got a response about changing my country from USA to Canada where I'm currently living/grinding. If they hold firm on providing a non-US issued ID card then I'm not sure what I'll do:

If it's actually just US issued ID card then this is a lot lower hurdle to clear than the 4 or 5 pieces of paperwork I had to send Pokerstars last year to get my account reactivated.

Try sending them your U.S ID plus a utility bill from where you now live. Theres nothing in the email that said you need a non U.S id, just proof of a non U.S adress.

Not only this, u are starting right at Diamond, if u have been Iron Man at least 1 month!

And....u get a grace period to stay Diamond, depending on how long u have been Iron Man, starting form 30 days up to 365 days!

Some exampes:
1 month IM = 30 day grace period
7-12 month IM = 150 days grace period
31+ month = 365 days grace period

I just got an email saying, that i got 600 $ Mid-Year-Bonus and AT LEAST 200 $ DMI Bonus. Let's see on tuesday, how much that will be!

I got the impresion from the email that they may not tell you how much until you clear the mid your bonus.

Some people have said that they havent played at FTP in years and they are getting 400+. These bonuses are similiar to the ones FTP randomly gave away and that usually sent more to casual players to make them play. Regs get less because...they are already "commited" to the site. There doesnt seem to be a formula to determine the exact amount but this was always the tendency.

yea some people don t like the stats but thats life. allowing new names would be a nightmare in a way because you could not do every one at once. because of certain names, you would have to go in order dating back to when FTP opened to be fair.

Too funny,15 emails in 3 days is crazy,I suspect everytime you send an email the previous one sent gets disregarded and you get put to the back of the line,I know that's what i would do if i was them.It is people like you that is making it slow for everyone else with them having to go through loads of the same emails saying exactly the same,there is still almost 4 days to go to real money launch..whats the problem with giving them a little bit of time to get to grips with all the emails and questions i know doubt they will have been bombarded with,just relaunched a new company ffs.Chill out!

It's not that they aren't repling or I am sending new emails! I am replying to the same ****y trail every time!

So is this the order I should do my bonuses in:

1. Clear Iron Man Mid Year Bonus

2. Accept the Deal Me In Bonus and clear it all.

3. Quick clear the Ring Game Ticket yielded from #2 before it expires within 7 days.

4. Do a $600 transfer from PS to FTP in order to obtain the Deposit Bonus. Clear this.

5. Use points to purchase a $5k bonus and clear this.
