why do people like the software so much?

if i am totally new to ft, have never signed up there before, do i still need to sign up through a rakeback site or can i sign straight up now like pokerstars, and still get all the rakeback and bonuses etc?

You can turn all that off. I must say after playing for afew hours today there is something sort of ... nicer compared to PS. It makes me want to play more but I don't know why. Maybe I will get bored of it.

On another note can anyone clue me in on what the rakeback situation is on tilt now? I'm using an account from pre BF so the only bonus offer I have atm is the deal me in bonus. Do I get rakeback using full tilt points in the store (once it goes live?)??

Edit: Oh I see is it this edge system? How does it compare to the PS VIP system?

So just before they shut down, I had an echeck deposit pending, that obv didn't get to go thru. I went to make a withdrawal using that method today, and sadly it treated it as tho I had never made a deposit (which is true, the above attempt would have been my first). Sucks.

But I assume there is no play-thru requirement to w/d funds moved from tilt to stars.... Is this the case?

How can anyone say the Full Tilt software is the best? Stars is wayyy ahead imo. FT uses a **** load of CPU and Stars needs barely any to run with absolutely zero issues, just plain smooth. FT just seems so outdated to me...
