93TilInfinity just dropped $50,000 on the first hand he played at RailHeaven when he sat against Harrydebeng?

Don't have the HH as I closed FTP, but was 93TilInfinity's 10 10 vs. Harrydebeng's A Q AIPF. Turn an Ace.

Possibly very sick. A number of lower stakes players were sitting out on the table chilling without intention to play. Would be sick if the 50k were a majority of 93's bankroll.

I remember seeing 93 playing Nosebleeds a while back, as far back as 2007 even, and have also seen him playing 600NL on occasion.

yeah - he was a nosebleed regular for a while, then from all reports i heard went busto. mosto f last year he was grinding 600nl-1k nl from what i saw. so id imagine this was a prettyb ig shot.
10-03-2008 , 10:55 AM
sucks to be him
10-03-2008 , 11:03 AM
If you guys think Hoss is perfect, his game can't be exploited and that Patrik is overrated and doesn't make adjustments mid-game, then you're pretty dumb.
10-03-2008 , 11:10 AM
We don't know what is going on in those games with regard to strategy adjustment. We're trying to tell you that neither do you.

haha, of course I don't know. I never claimed I do. But it was a freaking ASSUMPTION that a great player makes adjustments mid-game. If Brady is getting stuffed in the first half, they come out and make adjustments in the 2nd half to counter whatever the other team is doing-to use a football analogy. You don't have to be in the locker room to know they did. All great players do this and that's why they're great.

edit: note that i am aware Patrik probably ran very good later in the match. I'm not saying it's the adjustments ONLY that made him crush matt. It's a combination of both imo

hoss ivey and Ziig playing LHE!
10-03-2008 , 12:00 PM
Hoss got Ivey for 100k at 2k/4k. now there playing 1k/2k limit fullring with ziigmund, instires and vlindermes. so far ziig and ivey are basically dominating

'He lost because Patrik adjusted to him in the middle of the match and probably had some rush too. Before Patrik adjusted, he was getting crushed.'

Rolen,

What other reasons could there be? It was either Patrik running good or him adjusting&running good or Matt tilting/playing bad. Since Patrik is a great great player and Matt is not known for tilting, I assumed the obvious(i.e, along with running good, he made adjustments).
10-03-2008 , 12:30 PM
It could be that Patrik made an adjustment that led to better results. It could be that he ran better for a little while. It could be that Hoss had a short-term severe mental illness and told Patrik his cards each hand on AIM for a 10 minutes before recovering.

We don't know which one happened so we shouldn't state as fact one or the other.

Although it was probably the 3rd option imo
10-03-2008 , 12:47 PM
I didn't say it as a fact. I already clarified it as an assumption. That it was my opinion etc.

The reason I made that assumption is because it was the most likely one. True, Matt could've had short term mental illness and shared cards but it is as least likely as it gets.

Some things are more likely than others and in this case, it was more likely that Patrik made adjustments along with running good than it is that he just ran good or whatever.
