No he's bluff-shoving a set in position on the river-_- herpderkadurr
10-18-2012 , 11:39 AM
thats almost definitely a bluff

lottenice can't have anything better than 56, will is uncapped and can have all the nut hands, probably a spot where he's just decided to be super exploitable in the moment and bluffjam everything that doesn't beat Ax (its not like Lottenice's line isn't super face up)
10-18-2012 , 11:42 AM
It realy looks like no better hand would fold, and no worse would call. Confusing.
I don't think he expects lotte to fold the low strait.

I guess super slim hero value

You flip 10 times against a monkey and lose all of them. Runbad.

Or any other variation in which the wins are not 5-5 (+-0EV) is either good run or bad run.

That is only to demonstrate what rungood or runbad means (small sample also with only 10 allins). There is obviously rungood and runbad other than all-in EV, which is harder to determine. But the point is your luck is not dependent on your oppponents. You winrate obviously is, which consists of your luck and your skill level opposed your opponents luck and skill level.
This is theory only. What happens in practice may not fully correspond to theory. I will never change opinion in this matter.

sagoland, address the fact that the players Isi faces at 100/200 are the same as 200/400, argue against that

wins at 100/200 but gets crushed at 200/400 against the same guys, obviously just a case of runbad
10-18-2012 , 12:13 PM
yea i kinda disagree bc when playing vs a bad player he will give u extra ev by calling dwn with beat hands more and getting it in bad more... rungood n skill r inter related ... i think?... ;0

I may have some arguments but im finished with this discussion now because when you bring my opinion forward most of the pokercommunity jumps at you and I dont wanna keep arguing forever. So from now on I refer to post 3749. Actually I regret my first post which started this because I had nothing to win with it.

well who cares about sending back 5 bets if you play against a huge whale with an expectation of say 20bb/100?

still a smart move obiously

i thought galfond said isildur was now really good at Omaha? Or do you think that was BS?

Also, why the **** does he never play Hold Em any more!
10-18-2012 , 02:55 PM
would isi get action at nl?
10-18-2012 , 02:59 PM
Galfond was talking about PLO, not O8 but it's best to ignore mumpfmampf, if isildur was losing at 20bb/100 in 08 he'd be down $3.8m by now. He's actually losing at 1bb/100 currently. Incidentally joiso is actually the biggest loser in O8 this year.

Anyone help please.
I don't think they have implemented it yet (per PS representative in another thread). Also, the other player must also have the "run it twice" button clicked in order for it to be ran twice.
