I do have a different take on this situation from others. Although it was irresponsible to go into business without finding out a little bit about the other person, I place some blame on previous victims. And there are a lot. If they reported Adnan to the police, prosecutors office, instagram (where he conducts most of his scams), or lawsuit, Adnan would still not be out there preying on others. I hope your friend follows through on this and files some type of report. Placing wagers won't get you in trouble, but being the bookmaker in NY will.

I'm no lawyer but maybe this is a RICO. Adnan has a small group of clowns that help him scam others. They build the websites knowing it's purpose is to scam others. His cousin Naheem is involved. Back when they ran the club and first bookie site it was their two venmo or cash app accounts that funds were deposited into. Now this stock bs. That's fraud or theft by deception.

NYPK has been posting his trading on instagram stories.. He has been shorting calls since last week on AMC. If anyone is interested you can see him blow up his account. He started with roughly 1M last week and I calculate he is down about 800K in the last two hours. If he has wronged you in the past you can get a little taste of his suffering now.

update: he was down 1.2MM then got a margin call so was able to hang on to position.. AMC trended down big at the open on 6/3 the loss was only 150k but was too stupid to cut the loss there.. now AMC is currently up 8% and moving.. if it closes here and gaps up tomorrow in the 100s he will probably be force liquidated via margin call if he he doesnt wire large cash before the close
