He was convicted of grand larcency in 2013. It's covered earlier in the thread, but not in a lot of detail.

I cannot work this guy out. Lots of claims he's a scammer, and I cannot believe there are playing stakes like he's posting on this site he's 'backing'.

He also just announced he's playing the $100k WSOP event in the summer with 22% backed by 'friends'. I can't imagine he's doing that if he's a complete farce.

Is it just that he's doing ok and making out to be a complete and utter baller?

its really not that hard to figure out, he scams everyone and he's living a lie. I feel bad for anyone that believes any of the bs this asshat posts. He's 1000000% running that illegal poker site and is a degenerate gambler so he scams in any which way to fuel is habits. Also, less than Zero chance he's a CEO of a financial company as he claims and definitely zero chance he owns an Amex black card. Mark my words, he will be broke and in jail in less than 2 years when he gets exposed. /rant

You can find him on LinkedIn (at least I think it's him), where he seems to have two profiles. He's been CEO of Brown Morgan & Co and more recently Advizor Inc/Advizor Payments. I have no idea what those companies do exactly, but they're not exactly Fortune 500. They don't seem to have any internet presence at all, which means they're super small scale and probably just an office for him to do whatever it is he does.

Like most of the losers on Instagram he's full of ****.
They're attention whores who like to act like they have more money,do better things etc than they really do

Unless it's for marketing purposes people crushing don't need to let everyone know

I see him at Borg and parx a decent amount
Ive only played w him a few times but bc plays low stakes nl and pretty nitty from what I understand . He can post all the chip stack picks he wants.they mean nothing and he's doing it so he can scam people by pretending hesa crusher when all he is in reality is a scammer and a grade a loser

Lmao at him playing a 100k with only 22 PCT backing
He doesn't have 78k to his name let alone the money you'd actually need to use 78 k for a donkament

I saw that liberalchick has started promoting 'pokerclug.ag' recently too. Guessing that means it hasn't been shut down yet.

Seeing this guy posting Crypto advice was the last straw for me. He was posting 1hr charts of Bitcoin going down 10% and being like "get our while you can! Bitcoin sucks it's a scam" blah blah blah.

I've followed this guy for a while, mostly because his rep on here has always been really negative, and I didn't really see why, so I wanted to make my own judgment. When it comes to this homegame group (ffs, this isn't a "site", it's actually more like some poker room simulator than an actual poker client. You create the tables, rules, rake, and most importantly, act as cage.) Adnan made a post describing how the work done was very hard and because of his other ventures, he "stepped down and sold his interest in this company. He posted this shortly after being questioned by multiple poker pros about player fund policies/security/multiple other questions that shouldn't even need to be asked. Also, people did bring up that what he's doing is like absurdly not legal, but probably just a reaaaaaally big coincidence.

Since then, it's clear that he also started asking IG people to shill for the site, offering 10% depo bonuses or something when you register through them. He literally posted pictures of him in Vegas/LA with the people now posting nonstop IG stories trying to encourage people to deposit.

Now, what does this mean? I have no idea. I have seen a fair amount of his IG stories where he's got 5 figures in play, he's been on L@TB, he binked a 2nd place in a big MTT for 6 figs, so like... the people here saying he's super broke or an actual scamming criminal with a real history, do you have proof? The way this whole "site" is designed, it is not only reaaaaaally easy for everybody to just lose their balances, but it caters to the long con. If Adnan thinks like a scammer, the longer this site operates legitimately, the bigger the player pool balance becomes. The more legitimate he appears, the more trustworthy he appears to random people that funnel to his IG page, etc. He basically can rake these games as long as they last and whenever he thinks that it's time to pull the plug, he can make out with whatever money is in the room's "balance". So it's a pretty easy way to hedge your bets. If you run good degening, great! If not, you have this nest egg that is just gaining by the day if and when you decide enough's enough. It's a really smart freeroll, you just have to be a huge piece of garbage. Dude makes it impossible to make that determination.

I expect very little to come of this, but it bums me out that people are still using this software without any of this stuff every really being addressed, it's just based solely on trust and a lot of people probably don't even realize it. If you have mileage with this guy, you should really speak up. I questioned even posting this because it really puts him on blast for some serious stuff, but if it looks/swims/quacks like a duck... yeah. Hope my gut's wrong for the sake of a bunch of recs.

I have followed him on Insta for ages and formed opinions way before I saw anything on here. If you like poker and you use Instagram, his social media will constantly be recommended to you, so checking it out becomes unavoidable.

He's constantly going on about his haters and how they're all losers and they think he's broke, but he's not. It's clear he has some money, so I don't think anyone is questioning that; but some of what he claims is slightly dubious or just weird.

For example, he started off with a ton of shots of chip stacks, claiming to be an absolute crusher. Then gradually the poker stuff has dwindled considerably -- it's still there, but he's gambling a lot more on casino games like blackjack as well as sports betting. So that calls into question just how good he is at poker, because why give up something lucrative and then punt off on sports betting? He fills his Instagram with stuff about his "degen life", and it looks pretty sketchy. Like, dude, according to your own feed you're regularly punting off five figures on blackjack and sports betting, you're stuffing your face with random junk food constantly, driving back and forth between LA, Las Vegas and New York, promoting this poker site that you no longer have any involvement in running even though it was printing money according to your earlier posts.

I don't see myself as a hater, because I don't think I've ever posted anything negative to his social media and basically I just don't care enough about him one way or another to hate on him. However, I will say I do think what he posts and the way he behaves is a bit odd and sometimes scummy.

For example, I don't like the way he gets into hurling insults (frequently homophobic) and encourages his followers to attack people by spamming or whatever.

I have no idea whether he plans to scam anyone or whether he will do the right thing by people. It's a ****ing coin toss based on what I've seen of his past actions and the profitability of the site.

Yeah, I saw that too. They just repost his stuff as well, so it's super blatant and lazy. Like there are these people in the background who you will never see who run the site, but yeah, Adnan is doing all the ****ing marketing, because he doesn't have time to run the site, but he can do all the marketing material.

There's plenty of proof in this thread of his conviction and of him ****ing people over if not outright scamming. He definitely has history.

As I said above, though, that doesn't mean that this is necessarily a scam. If it is, it's a new one for him.

Like someone has already mentioned if you folllw a lot of poker or gaming related things on instagram, this guys post will inevitably come up. So I have been following him for awhile at least two years or close to it. It’s clear this guy has a gambling problem with the pits and sports. I wouldn’t be shocked to learn he is using the monies from the poker site to fuel this. He has some money I would guess maybe a little left over from that Sunmer tourney score, but he is not successful as he claims, no real assets at all, house, car or anything. All fake ass **** which is typical for these instagram pros. He also seems to be easily offended as he blocks a lot of people that ask or say things that might “reveal” his true reputation. I have been blocked myself after asking him a legitimate question on the poker site. I also personally know someone he has stiffed on his sports betting site by ignoring them and not paying winnings. There is another account on instagram that typically will out him on stuff he posts or people he has scammed and whatnot. It’s not too hard to find on instragram if you look.

He did a really stupid thing with that $200 because he's an idiot and doesn't actually think he did anything wrong. Adnan Mohammad may actually be a common enough name in NYC where the grand larceny documents may not apply to him (it's a stretch, admittedly). If I missed information proving it was him, or if he admitted to it, I am ignorant to it... which is why I posted.

There's not a ton of concrete evidence that I've seen that proves he's anything other than a really stupid person who is either very good, or luckboxed his way into being very good at self promotion by being a BS artist. I tend to think that he -is- a scammer, and the potential scam he is running in this room is getting fatter and fatter by the day. I'm not saying it's our obligation to care, but rather than slander and call him a douchebag, why not actually try to out the guy publicly so he can't swindle people that are obviously new to online poker/gambling? I keep seeing stories from randoms about how he stole their money from sportsbetting, but they don't go into it at all and come across as barely reputable on first glance, so again, just some actual proof of him scamming would go a long way.

He never stole my money but it was obvious within ten mins of being made aware of this guys instagram he was a total scammer.people who crush the games just crush the games-they don't constantly post pics of chip stacks.that is what wanna be scammers do.

I barely play nl with anymore.but I have played a lot of nl at borgata and some at parx.mostly 5/10 but some 2/5.ive played with him before I knew about any of this Instagram nonsense.he was a huge nit but he magically posts these asburd chip stacks at a 2/5 game with a 500 cap -total bull****. Then to top it off he never played 5/10 nl at all even when the games were great. How does that make any sense? He was so great at poker that he consistently has stacks in 2/5 nl that people would be lucky to get once a year yet never played higher at all.

It's obvious guys like this brag about their huge wins so they can scam people into staking them in tournies and things like live at the bike.I would have thought this if I never played with him at all ,but the fact I have make it beyond obvious he's a fraud and a scammer.

I'm not slandering this guy.first of all slander isn't written.libel is written.
Second of all everything I have written about this loser is true.

But if someone looks at his Instagram page and is stupid enough to get ripped off by such an obvious over the top crook they almost deserve to get ripped off.

I'm not sure if you'd consider this evidence, but in the second post of this thread you'll find a link to another thread where someone claimed he had been scammed for $200, which he got back in the end through another 2+2er, and someone else posted in that thread that a buddy of his had been taken for $6,500, and yet another poster mentioned a $3,500 Paypal scam, but neither of them gave anything in the way of details.

Thanks, I kinda referenced those things indirectly. I read through the thread a while back when I first started paying a bit more attention to his posts due to this weird poker club. The $200 thing involves a lot of correspondence between them, which I would have to imagine people getting taken for 5k+ would also have. Tbh, somebody willing to ship that amount of money to some idiot on IG... I don't exactly default to believing them. I also don't default to believing some guy that knows a guy, lol.

Dude's been spamming ads nonstop over the last few days, now having ppl contact the people that he gave these sign up bonuses to (I don't want to out them, because I don't know if they are stupid/naive or involved somehow, I tend to think the former.) By getting these other people promoting, he can take a step back from the advertising aspect and distance himself even more so the "500/week for advertising" he claims he gets paid (it's this sort of pandering BS that irks me, but his followers eat it up apparently) could actually ever make sense.

His actual account has little to no mention of pokerclub.ag anymore, but he uses the IG story feature which deletes content after 24hrs. Given HOW MUCH content he pumps out for this site, this alone makes it pretty obvious that he knows what he is doing is super illegal. Now, I know a lot of people that will willingly break the law for $, but won't steal a dollar from another person. Neither are good, obviously, but I've met a lot of real sweetheart criminals in my day, so there are weird distinctions. I'd guess as a poker pro, you have a lot of experience with people like this.

borg, you seem super bitter in every post and I don't really get why. I get that you think he's a douche bag, but outside of this $200 debacle, there's very little actual proof... it's almost all just hearsay. Again, my gut says he is a scammer, but it's based on very loose facts that really only need verification to flip the switch from "just an idiot trying to hustle" to "dude actually stealing money from people". I actually really hope I am wrong.

"But if someone looks at his Instagram page and is stupid enough to get ripped off by such an obvious over the top crook they almost deserve to get ripped off."

If he's scamming idiots for poker staking, that is way different in my mind than baiting people into depositing into a card room that isn't on the up and up. The latter is not okay at all, and if you seriously think they deserve to be ripped off, you are just as big of a douche bag. As far as the "posted false chip stacks" thing... a -lot- of people do that, it's pretty much how instagram works dude. It doesn't make it right, but it's so commonplace that for the IG pros, it's almost mandatory to present yourself way above your actual means. In poker, we have idiots that have asked for ridiculous mark up and got it. That's the sort of thing that is worthy of criticism, but it's between them and the equivalent of a bad investment. We also have people that oversell to buyers and wind up cashing because they are brain dead morons. In this case the bad information given to investors means a lot more, for obvious reasons. That is the sort of situation that this parallels for me. Is he a douche bag salesman, or an actual thief?

Can you elaborate on this for those who didn't see this story? I just thought this was interesting because petey and NYPK were posting on social media this summer while in Vegas during the WSOP. The petey guy has a YouTube channel, and was posting videos with NYPK. Apparently NYPK bought him into a tournament. So, I was surprised to read this.

Blame the Modern Era Veterans Committee, but it may relate to hard feelings that owners colluded against him when he filed for free agency in 1986.

Without even playing with the guy it's beyond obvious he's nothing but a snake oil salesmen.Having played with him makes it even more obvious (not that he's terrible he's just a run of the mill nitty 2/5 nl reg posting pictures of wins that had to be fake for a lot of reasons)

I'm not bitter in every post but I agree Im bitter in some.i hate scammers,i hate how many total frauds are in the poker world,I hate regs who ruin their own games (this overlaps with people in poker being scammed as their is a severe lack of common sense in poker while there is an overabundance of ego),and I hate that jack Morris got in the hall of fame.So on those topics my posts are usually bitter.
All fair points, same here, obv. I have very little interest in being involved in this, but nothing being done to somebody being described this way irritated me more than anything so here I am :\
