I'm from the US so mm/dd/yyyy is what I'm used to, but I agree with Kelvis that smallest to largest makes sense logically.

If you want to be "logical" then it should to be YYYY/MM/DD. Year being the most significant so it's to the left like with numbers, and can actually be sorted purely by the characters.

MM/DD/YYYY also makes sense because the month is what most people tend to care about the most. In the back of the mind we generally care most about it being May rather than being 15. It tells you what season you're in, the range of temperatures, business cycles, etc.

DD/MM/YYYY is the worst of both worlds. It's not how people think of dates, can't be sorted, and isn't left-to-right significant.

People already know what month it is. At any specific time people need to know the day not the month. Another example of close minded Americans thinking their way is better than the whole rest of the world.

Huh? Are you trolling?

People usually know what month it is.

DD/MM/YY makes the most sense.
YY/MM/DD makes a lot of sense. I use this to name work files and this allows me to sort the files by the date, ascending or desceding.

MM/DD/YY is for witless americans who can't even begin to admit being wrong.

I think it's mostly convention based on how the date is verbalized.

Do you say today's date "May 16th" or "16 May"?

Different languages express these things differently.

Maybe we should ask Daniel.

Agree but once a year, on the Fourth of July the July of the Fourth we can make an exception to accommodate any Americans we know.

yyyy-mm-dd as in Hungary or Japan I believe is even more logical as it puts the biggest numbers first and dates can be sorted using normal alphabetical order.

John Malkovich reprised his Russian gangster persona on the TV series Billions on Showtime Sunday night. This time playing a Russian Oligarch named Grigor Andolov. If you liked Teddy "KGB" you will love this guy who is so scary Teddy would hide from him.

At the time, there were a lot of guesses as to who that nvg star is but nothing confirmed. Did Haralabas give an update on whether he got paid or who it was

Did he not play it this year? Looking around and didn’t think he did. Thoughts? Did he say he wasn’t playing anymore?

Thanks

It is OK to post something positive in NVG without "getting a Banned". People do it all the time.

I expect the moderators are getting tired of post after post from you that are all the same - A bunch Of Random capitalization of Words for no Known reason, 3 videos, 2 jpegs, and 1 odd meme contained in every one of your posts, always ended with a suit icon. Perhaps it was cool and unique to some people the first few times, but after 1,050 of them, people get tired of it.

If you want to post your low content stuff, this is the thread for it - but without videos any more, according to that infraction. If you want to add some actual content to other threads (real content, not just one throwaway sentence and a bunch of pictures and videos), I'm sure you're still welcome to do so. And if you want to discuss NVG moderation, there is a sticky thread for it, where I'm sure NVG mods (I'm not one) would be happy to give you some more answers and feedback.
