I played few sessions of live poker with her and always thought....what the **** is she doing? Apparently, what she's doing is crushing dreams and getting sponsored by party poker.

I guess it's not a valid point that many pros are constantly staked and given sponsorship that don't deserve it. Seems unfair to winning players who would actually want to be more known. But yeah shove it to the bottom of a '1/3 content' thread.

Primarily, a view that there are too many professional players who are sponsored for all of the wrong reasons. Yes in this case we have one specific poker player, but what she is given for free for no apparent reason is confusing to say the least. This example can be used to consider other examples. The post was also a good read with humor.

Perhaps read the actual link before you randomly decide to banish something to the edge of oblivion.

She's sponsored bc she's a competent mtt'r, she's nice, and she's pretty. If she's not better at poker than you, I'm 💯 her man is!

In Vegas the highest game you can find is 5-10 NL and even that does not run in most poker rooms. Surely the top pros are playing for much higher stakes then 5-10. I know there used to be high stakes games at Bobby's room, do those still run? Have all the huge games moved to China? Do they play in private home games?
