You buy "time tokens" to use like card protectors. 90% goes to charity and 10% to the dealers and token vendors.

During the tournament the dealer has a small LCD screen that she rests her hand on while he waits for you to act. It glows yellow after 10 seconds, then red after a few more. The dealer then takes your time token on your cards. The screen resets and you get another 15 seconds before the dealer takes another token. If you don't have a token, she mucks your cards.

Now when the player cries "dealer took my hand, so unfair!" Everyone will just say "this was a charity tournament. You should've given ($5/$20/$100/etc) to charity."

The goal of this is for people to get comfortable with shot clocks...oh, and charity

My thoughts here have me wondering why everyone i know thegood people that built the foundation of poker guys from the binions that moved to the mirage half of them died and then when the mirage faded all of those guys are dead now ..........mostly just me and a few off-grid guys i never liked in the first-place.I REFLECTIVLY and humbly raise a glass a toast ........heres to never meeting anyone i would rather be........cheers.
