we are finished playing i think no reason to stroke his ego ,i said he couldnt beat 10-20, and i woulda bet big money against him beating this game for 10k hands even tho a small sample looks like i was very wrong

I wouldn't call DN a real fish but you have to agree that 9bb/100 in this type of game is nowhere close to his true win rate, right?

ptr says hes up 2.09bb? obviously nobody is a 9bb winner in these games, but if someone is a 10bb loser in this kinda line up which alot of people would be, odds of being a winner after 10k hands are not very high, somebody who knows what the standard deviation is could tell me the exact odds

Oh, ok, didn't know ptr said he is up 2.09bb. DN was the one saying he was 9bb/100 over 10k so I went off on that.
2.09bb/100 is still a respectable win rate for these types of games, but like you, I'd like to know the odds that one is a true winner for beating the game @ 2bb/100 over 10k..
Also, how much would this winrate change if DN was multi-tabling?

this thread was good,
+1 if durrrr or any regular online player made this play its "standard" you see some unbeliveably weird hands in the HS games

He was just building psychological subconscious rapport with that loose cannon by mirroring his behavior in order to win his trust, so that later on he could iso him and own him in pokerz

seriously don't form your opinion about online players based the random posters in News, Views, and gossip.

The thread was created because it was actually nutsinho who was criticizing his play. He's not exactly a random NVGtard who doesn't play poker.

ADZ and koc had a threesome? With who? Grimstarr?
Good going DN and fair play for not rising to the abuse nutsinho was throwing your way, others would have had a lot shorter of a fuse. Whatever about your current winrate, if you picked up a coach (and you certainly have the money to do so) you could kill those games and absolutely destroy the HS live games you've access to aswell. Something you should certainly consider.

I don't think the hand against nutsinho was all that weird. Maybe I'm supposed to fold before the flop, but if felt like we were deep enough to make the call in position 250 bbs deep with 79 suited. After that, I guess I could have raised the flop but I planned on raising a lot of turns if I missed. Turn was great, giving me more outs so it seemed like I had to take a shot at it then and hope he folds a big pair. He made a great read, I hit one of my 15 outs. Doesn't seem like I played it atrocious or anything.
10,585 hands
+$194,151.30
bb/100 9.17
I know that's not a large sample size yet, but it's becoming more relevant by the day, and I'm not playing against suckers here. These guys are all really good so I'm proud of my results and how I'm playing. I've learned a ton.
|
I think you're being generous is saying he made a good read.
Especially given your ( specifically you) hand range, a made straight, set, or at the very least the straight flush draw had to be real possibility.
His weak three bet, weak bluff, call-it-off with top pair/yawn kicker indicates nothing more than one too many drinks IMO.

Re: nutsinho tells kidpoker he still hasn't learned how to play poker
DN should never have a set after just calling the flop although it is possible 5-10% of the time.
His hand on turn is semi-bluffs/87/JJ+ making QJ a fairly standard call.

Thank you $6 HUSNG player for explaining to us exactly how DN should be playing in a NL20K game. Your in-depth analysis is much appreciated.

That being said, the shove is going to get called by a lot of hands since DN is repping either a bluff/semi-bluff or the nuts(78) and more times than not it's a semi-bluff than the nuts since you'd expect DN to raise flop with sets/2pair and for him to call flop and call turn with hands like 67/77/88/99/TT and i guess he can have JJ+ to shove the turn. nutsinho has to fold a decent percentage of time to make this shove correct (haven't done the math, but DN should have roughly 30-35% equity vs the hands that call him on the turn (could be as high as 45% if nutsinho calls with A-highs although then shoving is very bad since DN has almost 0 fold equity).
That being said, nutsinho is totally out of line with his chat.
That being said, no one cares about your 10k hand sample DN. We know you're not playing versus droolers and while showing a profit is a good thing, 10k is a very small sample in the online world. If you think you can maintain 9bb/100 at 1/200 (which is $1800+/100) assuming you get 60 hands per hour = $1080/hr why do you not play this game full time if you're making $1k+ an hour.
There have been many examples where you play hands atrociously online, (not knocking you, just being honest), where 50NL regs wouldn't even make that mistake.. and it's not that the games are so aggressive where you have to take a chance, it's just fundamental errors.
Fish can run good for 10k samples, or even 25k+ samples. Not saying you're a fish, just don't brag about your profit after a 10k sample.
On a personal note, DN, snapping of the cards when mucking in stud/razz is still annoying and tilting.
|
That being said. Shut up.

you've said this either twice or possibly three times in the thread and you've been wrong twice or possibly three times in the thread... if you say it again though, that might change... wanna give it a try?
