not trying to nuthug on DN, but this x1000. Mass multitablers at micros and low stakes don't realize that they're not really getting better. Their fundamentals might be okay, but if they don't play creatively and challenge their lines they are never going to be able to move up. The way to learn is not to grind 15 tables, but cut down on your tables and look at each hand you play more closely. Playing 1 table is probably going to slow down your learning curve though...

I think this is a very good point. In particular, I thought the KK hand against Molwsi with the $100k pot was extremely well played and is certainly not the line that most low stakes regs would take.

I have a lot of respect for Daniel. The truth is you can look at pretty much every play in a good way or a bad way. Poker is not exactly a simple game. Daniel for whatever reason never gets the benefit of the doubt, every play he makes is apparently automatically bad. Like he can make a great bluff and people here will say "that was a terrible value bet". I don't know why people hate on him so much. He is pretty much the only poker pro I would trust to babysit my kids.

DN coming on here and being such a good sport about the hate he receives reminds me of when Curt Schilling used to go on New York Yankee forums after pitching against them (for the Red Sox) that same night.

I never heard that about Schilling but that is pretty weird if it is true. Its one thing for Daniel to log onto his to 2+2 since he is already at his computer playing but for a MLB player to come on the forums after a game is just something I can't explain.

Thats the same thing I though. I though I've seen higher rakes at much lower levels. (I could be wrong though) Maybe it's because DN is one of there pros.

I don't think the hand against nutsinho was all that weird. Maybe I'm supposed to fold before the flop, but if felt like we were deep enough to make the call in position 250 bbs deep with 79 suited. After that, I guess I could have raised the flop but I planned on raising a lot of turns if I missed. Turn was great, giving me more outs so it seemed like I had to take a shot at it then and hope he folds a big pair. He made a great read, I hit one of my 15 outs. Doesn't seem like I played it atrocious or anything.
