I have a lot of respect for Daniel. The truth is you can look at pretty much every play in a good way or a bad way. Poker is not exactly a simple game. Daniel for whatever reason never gets the benefit of the doubt, every play he makes is apparently automatically bad. Like he can make a great bluff and people here will say "that was a terrible value bet". I don't know why people hate on him so much. He is pretty much the only poker pro I would trust to babysit my kids.

I just wanted to say "hi" to kid poker if he comes back and reads this!

I do notice DN gets A LOT of hate on here. I have a lot of respect for him, and in this instance it's just a semi-bluff, he got called and got lucky. I have no problem with that since it's standard play.

Exactly what I was thinking. Nutsinho is such a tool though, so it makes sense. He over exaggerates things all the time. I remember when he blew up b/c he thought raptor made a comment about him on his blog. He proceeded to talk trash to raptor and aejones. Now he's a video producer at leggo, go figure haha

Maybe it was just an excuse to post a straight-gay graph.

It's very easy to criticize and pick people apart when they put so much of themselves out there for all the world to see. Imagine that when you are at work, you are either entirely on camera, or it is all on display on the net for the entire world to see - every single move you make. Do you think you will never make a mistake? Instead of yammering away and trying to belittle someone, try reversing the roles in your head and see what it would look like if you were at the other end of the looking-glass.

Is Daniel the best NLHE player in the world. No. Does it matter. No. Does he have flaws. Obviously. We all do. He is good for the growth of poker, which everyone on this forum should have as their primary focus, as he comes across very amicably to the average viewer at home - which is the person you want to play against.

I can agree with that. I'm certain there are loads of plays/mistakes I've made that a 50NL reg would not have made. Have you considered, though, that there are some plays I've made in the game that were actually really good that a typical 50NL reg would NOT have made?

I believe that anytime you step out of the box you either run the risk of doing something awfully stupid, but you also have the potential to make some really high end plays as well.

I'm not Durr or Ivey and I know that, however, I am certain that I could find you some hands where if you didn't know who the player was you'd say "That's a mistake a 50NL reg would never ever make."

When your goal is not to learn how to become a "grinder" and you are trying to become really, really, good at the game, you are simply going to make mistakes along the way that people will go, huh??? How bad was THAT! The key is to learn from those hands and I think I'm doing a very good job of that...

i agree with this i think there are to many people on these forums that just say THIS IS the correct play and not even think of other possiblities
