You do have to love his 5-10% estimate that he pulled straight out of his arse though.

You're a moron. The fundamentals of poker is the same at any level. You don't need someone who plays low stakes to tell you this. If you think DN has shown perfect fundamentals, please go away and delude yourself more.

Careful now, you don't want to go and tilt and start blowing tens of dollars $6 at a time. Calm down there.

I know that's not a large sample size yet, but it's becoming more relevant by the day, and I'm not playing against suckers here. These guys are all really good so I'm proud of my results and how I'm playing. I've learned a ton.
Is there a math formula that you can use to calculate how accurate 10,585 hands is? For example could you say..this is X% accurate as to how i actually run.. When 2,000 hands would be Y% accurate, where Y was smaller than X obviously. Is there a way to find out the percentage of accuracy that your sample size is giving you at any given time.

Obviously it is clear that as your sample size gets bigger, your stats become more accurate, I was just wondering how people came up with the relevancy of different hand sample sizes.

There is a 2.5% chance he has a straight. Then using the rule of 2 we multiply that to get 5%, and using the rule of 4 we multiply it to get 10%, then by using these two figures as percentage chances along a continuum like this:

Its important to note that Negreanu's straight doesnt lie exactly at 7.5%. This model should merely be used as a graphic illustration. In reality, much like an electron, we can never know exactly where Negreanu's straight lies, and the process of observing it makes it change position.

-Edit Graphic added.

-Edit I apologise, but I cant seem to get Negreanu's straight to lie at 7.5% mark.
It all makes sense now.

Weird, but this is how I always understood his screen name to be. It never even occurred to me it could be "nuts in ho", haha, but that's pretty funny too.

To expound a little bit, nutsinho literally translates to "Little Nuts".

dunno what you 2p2 degens really want.

DN says he has a long way to go and wants to learn. He has admitted internet pro's are better. He is very nice to almost everyone. He is VERY good for the game. He is also been a large part of building the poker name.

Haters gonna Hate.

I am also skeptic abouts daniels ability in NLHE 6max cashgame, altough it seems that he is improving. I would be very impressed if he shows an profit after 50k hands against these sick line ups. Oh and if this is not a level, its really really sad getting drunk and acting like a fool.

I don't think the hand against nutsinho was all that weird. Maybe I'm supposed to fold before the flop, but if felt like we were deep enough to make the call in position 250 bbs deep with 79 suited. After that, I guess I could have raised the flop but I planned on raising a lot of turns if I missed. Turn was great, giving me more outs so it seemed like I had to take a shot at it then and hope he folds a big pair. He made a great read, I hit one of my 15 outs. Doesn't seem like I played it atrocious or anything.
