How to capture Stars hand histories:

On the Stars table click the "previous hand" link on the top left, which brings up the hand history box. Click the hand you want to post, Ctrl+A to select, Ctrl+C to copy. Bring up the converter tab in your browser, Ctrl+A/Ctrl+V on the left hand box to paste the new hh. Click the "Convert" button. Ctrl+A/Ctrl+C on the right hand box to copy the converted hand, Ctrl+V into the quick reply box on here.

We generally post ~200bb+ pots, but if there's an interesting hand/showdown, or if there's not much action feel free to post smaller ones.

Sorry if this is against the rules, but this seems like a good place to ask the following. Can someone who plays/played Mid/Highstakes NL please explain what happened with OhHeyCindy on Stars? I'm not looking for a where are they now answer. I don't care if he's playing 10/20 on ACR etc.

What I mean to ask is did his play shake things up at High Stakes? He jumped into 25/50+ on Stars in 2017 and played an insanely aggressive style. I believe he was one of the biggest winners on Bodog and coached by Nick Howard previous to this. I recall a couple of well respected high stakes players being critical of his play, but implying that because he was so hyper aggressive that it took a few weeks for most regs to understand his strategy, and make the correct adjustments. And most interestingly, he inadvertently improved the play of the player pool and narrowed the edge between Linus and the rest.

Is there any truth to this? Or just bullshit?

If you're wondering what they are doing now I think they're coaching at mobius poker:

That's a pretty cool anecdote. Any theories on how this helped the pool close the gap against Linus?

From what I saw on Twitter last year he went back to Bodog and won $1M after 1M hands.

This question is above my paygrade haha.

I cant recall who spoke publicly about Cindy, might have been Limitless? Can anyone else remember?

He didn't want to go into specifics but the implication was that "solid regs" were overfolding certain spots and Cindy was ruthlessly attacking these spots in an unbalanced way which is why he got crushed by Linus and OTB etc.

Your story or whatever one should call it is not how I remember it. I think you are mixing both of these guys up. The things you said about Cindy that he changed the game or however you want to phrase it sounds more like someone would had said about Linus. Initially people would battle Linus because they didn't realise how good a lot of the stuff was that he was doing, betting/raising a lot and not folding much. Think the interview you are looking for was with avr0ra at that russian site.

From what I can remember Cindy played 500z for few years, was well known and what not, went back to the us won heaps on bovada 2k. Went back and started battling 5k with oborra, stambolov, linus and so on at 5k/10k ante. Meanwhile Linus was initially playing zoom for a few years, and from what I can remember at the point he started playing 1k it was just non stop battles, same at 2k and same with 5k+. Linus way of coming up is/was super rare since most people tend to table select / bumhunt the new stakes for quite a long time and not just sit down and play vs everyone.
