Instructions for railing Pokerstars in the US

Download Pokerstars from here: http://77.87.180.178/PokerStarsInstall.exe
Mac version: http://77.87.180.182/PokerStarsInstall.pkg.zip

How to capture Stars hand histories:

On the Stars table click the "previous hand" link on the top left, which brings up the hand history box. Click the hand you want to post, Ctrl+A to select, Ctrl+C to copy. Bring up the converter tab in your browser, Ctrl+A/Ctrl+V on the left hand box to paste the new hh. Click the "Convert" button. Ctrl+A/Ctrl+C on the right hand box to copy the converted hand, Ctrl+V into the quick reply box on here.

We generally post ~200bb+ pots, but if there's an interesting hand/showdown, or if there's not much action feel free to post smaller ones.

Posting hands

Please use the following options for converting hands:

Hand converter that supports Pokerstars Run-it-twice feature: http://www.railhand.com
Just paste your hand history, convert, copy generated code and paste in this thread.

Preferred by most: http://www.handconverter.com.
Set to "Two Plus Two Forums" output, "Use player names" and "Show results". You can convert multiple hand histories at once, but please try to separate them once pasted into your reply for ease of reading (e.g type a between hands).

If that converter is down (happens occasionally): http://www.pokerconverter.com.
Set to "Show all names", "2+2 Forums" output and tick "Show results". You need to reset this converter after every hand. I use this converter for NL hands, to make them easily distinguishable from PLO hands.

If you want to post 2-7 TD hands: http://www.feralcowpoker.com.
Set it to "Two Plus Two - textonly" output, and show results and player names.

Action abbreviations

If no hand history available then you can use abbreviated actions to describe action. Preferred action abbreviations:
  • c = call
  • r = bet/raise
  • f = fold
  • x = check
this makes the action a little easier to read (e.g., x/r/c instead of c/r/c).

Posting screenshots

Hyperdesktop is a fantastic app for capturing screenshots and auto-uploading them to Imgur. It gives you the link to post here, no need to even visit the hosting site.
Download here: http://gethyperdesktop.com/.

I don't have 888's client installed on my PC anymore, but pretty sure it's push or fold tables, 5-10bb deep or something, not real poker.

Goes on probably more than people think and Trueteller is usually at the table. I have seen times with multiple stacks over $100K, which in a Push/Fold format with smaller stacks at the table is quite interesting.

Oops, too slow on the Edit: I see Trueteller with 261K and another reg with near 100K and the softest player at the table just behind that.

Interesting Things about October High Stakes Results:

-Gus Hansen biggest PLO winner (1 account) for the year despite being down $5.5 million overall

-Isildur1 being the biggest O8 winner with some of the biggest volume on the list

-Phil Ivey losing at 8-Game Mix.

-Ike's NLHE winrate

-Jeans quietly banking over $500k already this year.

-Juanda also pocketing half a $million online...but lol volume in this case

I feel like Kagome, Kagome and PFA are absolutely crushing this year. I frequently check the last 7 day results and the number of +$100-400k graphs these guys have had is pretty insane. Obv, LOL swings, but my perception is the wins have far outweighed losses.

Gus should and this feels wrong to say (remniscing Gus Hansen TV)
