Instructions for railing Pokerstars in the US

Download Pokerstars from here: http://77.87.180.178/PokerStarsInstall.exe
Mac version: http://77.87.180.182/PokerStarsInstall.pkg.zip

How to capture Stars hand histories:

On the Stars table click the "previous hand" link on the top left, which brings up the hand history box. Click the hand you want to post, Ctrl+A to select, Ctrl+C to copy. Bring up the converter tab in your browser, Ctrl+A/Ctrl+V on the left hand box to paste the new hh. Click the "Convert" button. Ctrl+A/Ctrl+C on the right hand box to copy the converted hand, Ctrl+V into the quick reply box on here.

We generally post ~200bb+ pots, but if there's an interesting hand/showdown, or if there's not much action feel free to post smaller ones.

Posting hands

Please use the following options for converting hands:

Hand converter that supports Pokerstars Run-it-twice feature: http://www.railhand.com
Just paste your hand history, convert, copy generated code and paste in this thread.

Preferred by most: http://www.handconverter.com.
Set to "Two Plus Two Forums" output, "Use player names" and "Show results". You can convert multiple hand histories at once, but please try to separate them once pasted into your reply for ease of reading (e.g type a between hands).

If that converter is down (happens occasionally): http://www.pokerconverter.com.
Set to "Show all names", "2+2 Forums" output and tick "Show results". You need to reset this converter after every hand. I use this converter for NL hands, to make them easily distinguishable from PLO hands.

If you want to post 2-7 TD hands: http://www.feralcowpoker.com.
Set it to "Two Plus Two - textonly" output, and show results and player names.

Action abbreviations

If no hand history available then you can use abbreviated actions to describe action. Preferred action abbreviations:
  • c = call
  • r = bet/raise
  • f = fold
  • x = check
this makes the action a little easier to read (e.g., x/r/c instead of c/r/c).

Posting screenshots

Hyperdesktop is a fantastic app for capturing screenshots and auto-uploading them to Imgur. It gives you the link to post here, no need to even visit the hosting site.
Download here: http://gethyperdesktop.com/.

Looking at isildurs graph for the year on hsdb just makes me think "**** me" every time. Insane swings.
11-01-2013 , 09:47 AM
Lots of hidden players in those lists: no Rhje, no cottonseed1, no PostFlopAction, etc etc etc...
11-01-2013 , 09:53 AM
probably a repost as nothing as big as isildur's upswong happened much last month in O8 or PLO

but how sick are antonius' results at O8
and odd odsen has solved PLO it seems

too bad some of the sickest guys have chosen to opt out (cotton seed chung ho etc, rhje...)

Castings 27TD $2000/4000 276 hands $172,473

Isildur down in 27, mostly to Kagome. He's been waiting at 8game for a couple of hours
11-01-2013 , 10:15 AM
word on the street is isildur would like to participate in movember. only problem is he can't grow a beard.
11-01-2013 , 10:51 AM
What happened to postflopaction in 8 game on full tilt? Wasn't he up like 2.4 million on the year?
11-01-2013 , 11:12 AM
Its soooo sick that WCGRider played the second most hands with 12k hands, while isildur played 60k hands. WTF!

The bad news for you is that I'm pretty sure Blom only is into women.

Yeah, I was just thinking that. With everyone hiding their results, the winners/losers list isn't quite as useful anymore.

I'd really like to see HSDB do something about the growing list of pros opting out. I've just created a thread on this topic and encourage those of you with thoughts on this to post in it letting HSDB know how you feel. Thx.
